Just had word from Smalljoes.com that they were shipping out my 2010 Wave 6 case. They received stock from Hasbro earlier in the week. Awesome!

In only saw this wave ONCE last month I think. Picked up Thanos, Iron Man, and someone else I think. Iron Man is okay, not too fond of the classic Iron Man mold from MU, I prefer the Iron Man 2 Comic Series version. Thanos is great.

I've went to every super store and toy store in my area trying to find the Dark Hawkeye from this wave but I can't even find one single figure from the entire wave. Kinda sucks I wanted him to fill out my Dark Avengers display.

This turned out to be quite the elusive wave. I only saw Thanos one time at retail (the one I bought). I was beginning to worry that I would never find him. I have never seen him again. The only figures from this wave that I see anymore are Iron Man and Dark Hawkeye. I really like Thanos, but I think the true star of the wave is Constrictor.

I finally picked up Thanos at a comic shop today after seeing only one Iron Man from that wave on the shelves. It's funny, one of the employees there confirmed what I have thought for years; the big box employees get first dibs before us "regular joe" collectors even get a chance. He said he works there part-time and bought 3 Thanos' before they even had a chance to get "hunted" down. That's not really fair but I guess that's the way it goes...

The guy from your comic shop was just being kind of a d**k, IMO. Especially since specialty shops tend to not get as much quantity. |

Just to clarify; the speculty-shop guy works part time at a big-box to get early dibs.
Now mind you, I'm not about to quite my day job just to get first dibs or anything and if I got to buy a figure on-line, I'll do it. It just seems like regular collectors like me are at a disadvantage when looking for those sought-after figures like Archangel, Warpath, sunfire, Vision, now Thanos. I've always wondered if collector-oriented employees get first dibs...now I know. It just seems kinda shady that they don't even make it on the rack. But, hey, all's fair in love and war...!! |

That wave with Warpath, Sunfire, Jean Grey, etc. was also very elusive. I only saw those figures a few times myself. Hopefully, the Thanos wave will start to make it out to shelves more. I'm sure there are still plenty of folks looking for them. |

Looks like most of that wave will be included in the upcoming revision cases so maybe that will help. I'm still looking for Dark Hawkeye myself and are actually looking forward to the revision cases to get him, Moon Knight{mine's arm is busted}, Daredevil{customed mine to the Shadowland version}, as well as more Skrulls and AIMs among others. So hope is still out there.

I'm about to go to my walmart and maybe they'll have gotten a new shipment of figures who knows I might luck out. If not it looks like I'll be waiting for the revision cases too.

For every d**k out there working retail, there's a saint preserving the cosmic balance. And I haven't found a Thanos yet, but if I come across one more MU rack with a bent-carded Iron Man 2020 and nothing else, I may have to cry in front of my children. |

Wow! A Christmas miracle! That's funny, the only fig I've seen from that line is the Iron Man 2020 as well, and only 1 at that. I am so sick of Iron Man Anything right now but like it or not, Iron Man and Spiderman bring in the profits to free up other figures of lesser-known status, hence the demand for Thanos!!
What a cool employee, I can't believe there was not a Thanos in the pallet though. Probably more Iron Man's than you can shake a stick at. Again, I saw a Thanos at a specialty comic store for $15, I figured that was a pretty good deal since it costs at least $20 on-line, then $6-8 shipping, etc. I snatched up it right-quick! Quite honestly, that's the only figure in that line that I wanted anyway, elusive as it seems to be. Happy hunting and remember...you are buying these up for your kids/nephew/little brother!! |

Whats a pallet? and where's it at? I'm going to find one and sneak into it and find me a Dark Hawkeye. Because I couldn't find jack shit at walmart!!! > I'm probably going to have to breakdown and just order one off line. Which sucks because he'll probably be cross eyed with awful paint apps with my luck.

I was Christmas shopping at a big box store a few days before Christmas, and an employee saw me lingering on the Marvel figures, showed me where the pallets were, and told me I could open anything I was looking for.

I found this entire wave for the first time on January 1st morning in south Mississippi and I picked up thanos and yellowjacket, cause that's all I could afford after spending all night in the casino. If only I could have had that kind of luck the night before I could have snatched up the whole wave.
