First up is patch. I started this guy right after I did the deadpool hip mod. Unfortunately I slipped with the screw driver when trying to pry apart his torso and needed six stitches. one scar and a few months later I'm finally going back and finishing him.
Those are black suit spiderman hips I joined to the post of his hip ball. That way I could use the original thighs. I had planned to do this to all my WO wolvies, but after the hospital visit, maybe I need a different approach. Here's my Dum Dum Dugan. I really want that head Glassman shrunk down, but haven't heard back from him yet. This will do in the mean time. And last but surely not least... Last edited by jimsloth; 02-25-2012 at 08:50 AM.. |

Grooooooooot! I can't wait to see him finished. I've got a Treebeard and have been thinking about using him, but I just can't quite get the design right in my head.

GI Joe 25th Cobra Officer. It doesn't quite fit but I don't mind it hanging open for now. Still haven't been able to get through to Glassman. How did you contact him?

Is the giant tree man suppose to Groot? I never followed the series much, does he have the ability to grow and shrink like giantman or wasp?

Negative. From what I know, every time he "dies" he becomes the size of a twig and has to grow again to full size, which is huge.

Story starts in the Annihilation War. I was never a fan of the galactic stuff as a kid, but I read that and was hooked. Nova and Guardians are great books the whole way through. Can't wait for the movie.

It's worse! if even a little twig of him remains, his consiousness resides in it- so occasionally, he's a tiny twig man on Rocket's shoulder and sometimes it's the other way around.
When the team first got together, Groot got all torched and only a tiny twig version remained and was complaining that he needed water... so Rocket spit all over him! Really pissed him off! |

Yes, Jim...I mean Groot is AWESOME! And he gets "killed" a lot- he's the "cover our getaway!" guy for the team- just snap off a twig, wish him luck and haul ass!

Maybe cut the mohawk off a comic-pack Storm for him too! Silvertri's version always had this...well, Storm-like white mohawk! You'd think they were part of some online forum for that sort of thing and tragicly ended up trying to kill each other offline, only later to realise their online pal was a homicidal cyborg or leather-clad glamor-mutant or whatever. It happens. Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 02-26-2012 at 12:47 AM.. |

Sorry Jason, I think tone gets lost in these forums. Read my awesome post in the voice of Barney from How I Met Your Mother.
Yep, I will be weathering BB. The mohawk idea had occurred to me, but if I do it, I'll just sculpt it so as not to kill a storm. The way he is now is like a modernized haircut of the 80s character. I also need to paint the stupid tattoo on his shoulder. All in all though I think my WIP looks about like what Hasbro would release. |

If you're going to give him a tat, you should make it a X-Men "X" with a ghostbusters style slash through it.
Fot Pretty Boy, you could use a ROTS Anakin head on a T3 endoskeleton- then just add the green filament things from his hands. Pierce could be a repainted Captain Mar-Vell head on a Grievus body. Just repaint a Crossbones for skullbuster. Daaaamn- now I really do have to get that Toybiz reaver and make my own custom... |

For Pretty Boy id have to use the head from the new GI Joe Dreadnok 7-pack Thunder/Thrasher, he's perfect, right down to the quiff!!!then maybe use a Gen. Grevious torso and legs, with MU Gambit's arms and coat to finish him off.
