This is Playmates, so they won't. The 11" figures aren't even close. They look good, imho, but not that good. I'm hoping a company like NECA will get the licensing needed to do some quarter scale figures.
Till that unlikely event, I think Playmates's offerings will do fine enough. I'll at least be getting a Raph, if not most or all of the others. The Turtle van, or Shellraiser, is going to be interesting. I'm kinda surprised listings for the role-play weapons and masks haven't gone up yet.

11" line is interesting. I wonder why they're going down that road. Reminds me of the giant turtles from 90s.

I think they've done figures of this size for almost every generation of the Turtles they've made toys for. The OT, at least one of the previous movies, the '03 series, and now twice for the Nick show. Only one's I'm not sure of are the Next Mutation designs and the '07 movie. It's not at all surprising they would do the same for the new movie.

I don't know how I feel about this movie and toys. I looked at the other turles and they looked like they took fashion advice from the guy with a hoodie from fat Albert. I know bay doesn't care about story so I guess if we get a sequel means the average joy liked it.

I will probably do the same thing with this series that I've done for most of the other TMNT lines, which is buy one each of the bros, Shredder and possibly the van (if it gets made in the same scale). The movie designs don't bother me that much, but I don't know if I'd be willing to go any deeper than that.
It's Bay's production company, but Bay is NOT the director or writer for the film. So his lack of storytelling ability has no effect on this film one way or the other.

Well, time to see those guys attacking and eating each other about these on that other board.

I will see this movie, whether in theaters or not, but I highly doubt I will collect the figures.
