So what happened with the Borderlands figures? At SDCC they showed Salvador and Zero, but no sign here. Have they lost that license? I see the blue ClapTrap, but that is just a repaint.

^They're convinced that the vault hunters (or BL human characters in general) are not in demand. Their reason for that is that Claptrap outsold the Bandit in a huge margin. Really pissed me off since they're comparing those bandits to the main vault hunters. I mean, I'd die to get all four Vault Hunters and don't give a F about bandits. It's a different ball game.

Therefore, NECA's current status for the Borderland figs is TBD (to be decided). Really sucks. As much as I love NECA and their work, I think they should just pass the license to another company if all they'll produce are different Claptrap variants. I just want my Vault Hunters please.

**All info from NECA Twitter page. I practically stalk their Twitter page for Borderlands figures news.

Well here is hoping that they lose the Borderlands license to McFarlane or another company then. If NECA is that foolish they do not deserve the line. Everyone I know wants the Vault Hunters, Handsome Jack and Moxxi. I have no problem with the ClapTrap variants, but at least do interesting ones, like the Jakobs ClapTrap or the one from the entrance to the Trash Coast. Their ClapTrap sold more so people just want ClapTrap analysis is stupid. That would be like saying that since R2-D2 outsells a stormtrooper figure that no one wants a Han Solo figure. What they should have learned is that MAIN characters are more popular than random bad guys.

I don't collect game figures and truthfully don't even play any of these games. But I love that creepy George Washington robot thing.
