It's really nice to finally be seeing the Legacy line Firefly figures. Even if this browser doesn't allow me to zoom-in on any Toyark news image for some reason...
It's also nice to see more of the Star Trek figures. Wasn't expecting the Gorn or an Orion. Hopefully neither of those keeps a main crew member from getting a slot in the line. Also, Funko actually got the licensing to do ReAction Arrow and The Flash figures? That's kinda cool, but makes me think that Mattel doesn't have any plans to do any of their own. Should be interesting to see which Canary they put on the card. I kinda hope they go with Laurel. Edit: Looking at the Star Trek figures, it looks like the only main character that hasn't been shown is Chekov. I doubt they will do so many of them just to not do one. With the addition of the Gorn and the Orion, that should at least be nine TOS figures. Would be cool if they made it a nice even ten and added Khan.

Those Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz vinyls will be mine. Might have to get that Venkeman, too.

Ohhhhh my poor wallet and shelves. I knew I was gonna end up getting The Rocketeer, I love that movie, but I wasn't expecting Firefly figures, much less Firefly figures that look SO AMAZING! The likenesses look spot on!

I am crying right now. At the beginning of 2016 I will either be A) Homeless, B) divorced, or C) Homeless and Divorced.

Those Firefly figures look soooo good !
I'm ecstatic that Funko is including Wash's dinosaurs with him ! May can't come quick enough! EDIT: And, judging from the in-package pics, am I mistaken, or is that Jayne's gun Vera that's included with him ?!?! Awesome ...

Now that I've had the time to process the deluge of toy-related news and announcements that has arrived over the past few hours, and I've had time to catch my breath and think, I'm thrilled about the character selection for the Firefly line !
I'm glad that I can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Kaylee made it into Wave 1 . She's easily on my list of favorite characters, right behind Mal and Jayne. I'm sure that a lot of fans are going to be upset that River isn't in Wave 1, but personally, I think that this lineup is pretty solid. I wouldn't trade any of the current characters for River, except for Wash maybe. I'm one of the rare Firefly fans who isn't a huge fan off Wash, but I realize that his omission from Wave 1 would anger A LOT of fans, due to his immense popularity among Firefly fandom, so I think it's definitely for the best that he was included. I really hope that a second wave gets made, so that we can get figures of Simon, River, Book, Inara, and Jubal Early (for all of the fans who are so intrigued by him).
