Hey gang, here is a ton of photos from Toy Fair
Star Wars Images from Toy Fair 2009

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS products available in 2009

CLONE TURBO TANK
(Approximate Retail Price: $99.99; Ages: 4 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
The next generation of STAR WARS fans are being introduced to the STAR WARS galaxy via the must-see animated series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS airing on Cartoon Network. As a follow-up to the popular AT-TE vehicle that topped Christmas lists in 2008, the CLONE TURBO TANK is an enormous field vehicle from the animated series, designed to transport up to twenty clone troopers (sold separately) into battle. The TURBO TANK features electronic sounds, running lights, phrases from the animation, a hidden, launchable speeder bike and a removable command center.

STAR WARS 3-3/4-INCH THE CLONE WARS BASIC FIGURES
(Approximate Retail Price: $7.99; Ages: 4 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
In 2008, Hasbro introduced an array of action figures based on the hugely popular STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS TV series. This year, Hasbro will release dozens of new figures based on characters from THE CLONE WARS entertainment, including Kit Fisto, Mace Windu and Commander Gree. Each figure comes equipped with action features or accessories, allowing fans to re-create their favorite scenes from the TV series.

ULTIMATE CLONE COMMANDER BLASTER
(Approximate Retail Price: $39.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
Every clone knows the key to success is choosing the right tools. The ULTIMATE CLONE COMMANDER BLASTER puts that decision in its owner’s hands. Kids can prepare for any mission with this customizable blaster that lets them create three unique Clone weapons – a pistol, blaster and rifle – and features lights and sounds that change depending on the selected mode. With this truly unique 3-in-1 blaster, kids will be able save the galaxy one mission at a time!

CAPTAIN REX ELECTRONIC HELMET
(Approximate Retail Price: $39.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
Lead the clone army as CAPTAIN REX by donning his authentic STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS CAPTAIN REX ELECTRONIC HELMET, as seen in the new STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS animation. This helmet is styled after the one worn by CAPTAIN REX and features an antenna with a working light, internal and external speakers and a voice amplifier. The internal speaker is programmed with seven Jedi command phrases delivered by Anakin and Yoda that direct CAPTAIN REX on his missions, while the external speaker plays eleven signature commands and phrases, allowing CAPTAIN REX to communicate with his clone army. The external speaker plays CAPTAIN REX dialogue taken right from the series, such as “The name’s Rex, but you can call me Captain or Sir” and “You’re exactly the kind of men I need in the 501st”. The internal voice amplifier allows the wearer to disguise his own voice and deliver additional commands as if he were the clone army captain.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS DELUXE VEHICLES
(Approximate Retail Price: $59.99; Ages 4 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
Take the CLONE WARS adventure to the intergalactic skies with new THE CLONE WARS DELUXE VEHICLES. These imposing vehicles are loaded with mechanical play features that allow kids to re-imagine the action they see in THE CLONE WARS episodes each week right in their own homes. Slated for release this year are the Y-wing and Arc 170, two vehicles playing key roles throughout The Clone Wars.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS DELUXE VEHICLE & FIGURE
(Approximate Retail Price: $15.99; Ages 4 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
In 2009, eight DELUXE VEHICLE & FIGURE packs based on scenes from THE CLONE WARS animation will fly into stores. Each STAR WARS DELUXE VEHICLE & FIGURE pack features one STAR WARS vehicle and an accompanying action figure, both designed in the iconic 3-3/4-inch scale. These smaller scale vehicles provide an exciting way to play out the action of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.

STAR WARS R2-D2 RADIO CONTROL
(Approximate Retail Price: $29.99; Ages: 4 & up; Available: Fall 2009)
You don’t need to have Jedi mind powers to control this droid! This 6-inch scale remote control R2-D2 is styled in the unique animated look of THE CLONE WARS series. Using a fun, STAR WARS-themed remote, kids can move R2-D2 forward or reverse, turn him around, spin his head and even control his iconic sound effects.

STAR WARS LEGACY COLLECTION products available in 2009

STAR WARS DUEL ACTION LIGHTSABER
(Approximate Retail Price: $29.99; Ages: 6 & up; Available: Fall 2009)

All my clones chill in the Gunship, so there isn't a lot of room on my shelf for this. But it gets cramped in there and rubbing up against a bunch of genetically identicle dudes in full body armour can't be fun at all.

Though if I do end up getting it, I hope it doesn't suck as bad as the AT-TE.

Do wut....? Aside from a loos hips issue that is both easily fixable and for which Hasbro will send you free replacement legs, I'd hope every toy ever made could 'suck' as bad as the AT-TE.

My worry about this tank is how much the speeder launching gimmick hoses up the realism and how much internal space it takes up.

Yeah, the At-Te is awesome, I might look at getting the turbo tank to have a transport vehicle, but I really don't like the design of the tank in general, the fact that all of the beastly tires come out of a huge brick on the bottom and on top is a flipped a round Imperial Walker body even in the movie. The lego set makes it look better than it's on screen appearance I think. Haha, but there is a Wal*Mart exclusive Gunship right? Is that old or new?

The legs issue on the AT-TE should have never happened, I don't care of Hasbro offered replacments. Too much shit is defective nowadays and people just take it in stride like it's normal. Plus, none of the doors stay closed, not even the front cockpit. I guess if everything did work right, it would be mediocre at best. Still, they need to step up QC before the Turbo Tank comes.
