Overall I think this line is neat. I quite like the heavy gunner endoskeleton what with that being the only one I've purchased, but I have seen all 4 individual figures in store. I do think that using the old Arnie T-800 final battle T2 figure as the base mold for this new one with some new molded parts is a drawback since you're only getting the pose they had in back then which isn't near what they do now. For me the Robocops were both passes since I already have the NES version and I don't think the new paint warrants the purchase for me (but don't let that stop you if you want this one too). I didn't see it in the gallery but does either Robocop come with the auto-9? I will say though that if you didn't get the NES Robocop than this is a great chance to get a cool video-game version of our favorite cyborg law enforcer.
Edit: I found an online review who did show that Robocop with flamethrower comes with the Auto-9 it's just in his spring-loaded leg holster in box already.

Of course the 16 bit version of Robocop would have better paint apps than the 8 bit version. After all...Genesis does what Ninten-don't...
I'm glad that this review was posted. I was really close to picking up the endoskeleton two pack for army building purposes, but opted against it for I feared that they would have the same legacy issues as my NECA T-2 Endoskeleton. With the thick paint schemes this figures have, I had a feeling that it would be a risky investment due to the fragile joints these had already. Hopefully NECA will give us a NES Gremlins and Godzilla in the near future! |

I recall them saying they'd like to do a NES Godzilla eventually. I personally think an '84 or '54 Godzilla painted 8-bit blue/teal would be pretty damn slick (either suit could work since the pixels left the fine details to the imagination though the box art was the '54 suit).

Yeah, sorry about the lack of the Auto-9 mention. Was focused on the paint and new weapons and it slipped my mind.
