At a glance I like how the armored Darkseid looks a little more than the other but looking closer and seeing he has a gap between his torso armor and belt is putting me off. It's like he got himself a midriff cut shirt but only a little bit, or it's armor he's outgrown but he likes it too much to stop wearing it. Then there's also the factor that he did literally nothing while he looked like that except stare menacingly at the heroes and talk a little bit.

Yeah, I noticed that near the end of my run. You can fudge it to be less noticeable, but it requires him hunching forward a bit. Possible you could dislodge the skirt and push it up a bit but I think it's glued in place.

Now that you've said it I can't unsee it and am kinda happier now with just the shirtless version lol (it's a more unique look anyways).

I'm leaning towards getting the shirtless version myself if I get either, I liked the flashback battle sequence even if Darkseid nearly got chopped in half by yoked David Thewlis. It made sense that Ares damn near killed the younger Darkseid but I still had an "oh shit" response when the fight ended.

Wow. Those are some fantastic pics of mediocre figures from a terrible movie. That pic of Superman and Darkseid is so badass.

I have most of the figures and even was able to get the Target exclusive Superman. I too am on the hunt for the goggles up Batman but I'm not sure he will be easy to find. I don't know why they just didn't make the goggles moveable to where you can have them up or down. That unmasked Batman head sculpt looks of course nothing like Ben Affleck. Though I still might try to get him if Entertainment Earth ever gets him in stock. Got the Armored Darkseid on order at Target. I like the Armored version over the non armored version because it looks like he is sucking his gut completely in. At least the armored one hides that. I wish I would have kept my Justice League Batmobile. I assume the one you used in the photo gallery is the one Mattel put out. Overall very nice photo gallery. These McFarlane figures are way better than the ones Mattel put out.

The Batmobile used in the shots is the 1/10 RC one from Mattel.

Mattel 1/10 Scale Justice League RC Batmobile Photo Review

Oddly, 1/10 is also the 7 inch scale, but that Batmobile is way bigger than it should be for those figs.

I would've gotten them had it not been for the plastic capes. Why not make multi-purpose cloth ones as well?

I feel that’s the only reason I don’t buy DC figs off the pegs. I have to spend hundreds on a Mezco or Mafex. It would be awesome if soft goods capes were an additional accessory. I have one McFarlane Superman that I had to customize to give it a cape.

Got Flash and he looks great with the other Flashes. Not sure about getting the rest, though.

I still can't understand why McFarlane insists on tossing so much paint on a headsculpt that it looks like it's caked in paint.

Oh ya? Funny I had gotten that Batmobile at Costco for a pretty good price and then I returned it. Oh well, I make such bad decisions sometimes.

I don't get why they didn't give some of the figures guns. Is McFarlane against giving guns to his figures? Spawn has guns. Also stupid Target canceled my Armored Darkseid pre-order. Assholes. I got King Shark from Walmart though and the unmasked Bloodsport coming. I need to look more carefully at my King Shark because I'm not sure if he has blood on his mouth or not.

Re: guns - not sure if there is any kinda rule or what, but if so I doubt it's a mcfarlane choice. I think DC made a choice about it a while back.

Re: king shark - the Walmart one by himself should have bloody mouth. It's not as visible with mouth closed but there.

Oh wow, sorry folks. I guess this is a variant within the Gold Label release then.

Didn't realize it but the Walmart photos have no blood either.

And for reference - the mouth closed position doesn't fully have paint. I think it was applied while open.

If that's supposed to be Idris Elba, then my sculpt looks like George Clooney.

The "no guns" rule is a mandate imposed by Warner Bros. on all DC products from what I'm hearing. It's even affecting the import companies hence why the new Figuarts Harley doesn't come with any guns at all. Really really dumb move.

You know for Transformers, people with skills and 3-D printers make "Upgrade Kits" for sale, some which cost the same or more than the figure itself, and people would buy them in order to complete/enhance the figure. For anyone reading this, this wave is prime for "Upgrade Gun Kit". Bloodsport especially uses some pretty unique guns in the movie. Go make the kit and make a killing! These figures NEED guns!

Between the janky face sculpts and the zero guns, I'm kinda meh on getting any more DC figures.

No reason to have to pay over $100 for some of their import stuff like Arkham Knight and he doesn't even have a fucking gun.

No guns, but bloody severed limbs are A-OK!
I’ve been expecting a lot more from McFarlane when they acquired the DC license. So far the movie toys have that $10 Titan size look to them, just with more articulation.

Thanks Todd for allowing to buy King Shark individually, I don't really need the other characters.

I've seen many japanese customers getting nice results with twitching the fig's pants, revealing nicely articulated hips.
