The Empire could be compared to how American colonists viewed the British, a tyrannical leadership forcing its will upon them. In both cases the rebellion beats the empire.
Admittedly though it's possible the pauldrons on these new snowtroopers wouldn't do too much to give them away. Snow blindness could hide them as it might anything, otherwise they'd be just as visible as any other snowtrooper regardless of the target on their shoulder. |

That 5 o'clock shadow and the eye paints on Poe makes him look a bit like the town drunk. Hehe. Just need a scaled whiskey bottle. The extreme close ups, I'm sure, exaggerate that a bit.

I hope the elbows don't trickle over to marvel legends I'm still surprised they did it with Star Wars first.
I guess if you trim some of the cuff off the upper arm you could get a deeper bend. Last edited by jestermon; 11-04-2015 at 11:14 AM.. |

I got this pack earlier today after having called my Target last night and asking them to hold it for me, I like it overall and I will say that Poe's stubble is a lot less drunkard-looking in person. Fun fact: the letters on the back of his helmet translate to "Poe" and the side puzzles me as it translates to "Roaehal" which means nothing to me but that is what it says on the other figure too from what I've seen and on the different promo material. I like this Poe a lot more than the individual because he doesn't look all pouty and depressed, here's hoping he's actually good in the movie (Oscar Isaac has done good so far so here's hoping). The riot trooper is nice to have as well, always good to swell the ranks with some variety rather than more of the same for me.

Poe Dameron's blaster rifle kinda reminds me of a beefed up version of the iconic XMLR-3A from the G.I. Joe cartoon.

With some effort I slightly moved the shield down on his arm a little bit so now it doesn't interfere with his elbow pose at all, if I wanted to I could easily take it off now. I didn't need to use a hairdryer or anything just a little bit of force with my fingers. Now there isn't any elbow blocking and I can swivel it around a bit for more display options.

Cool gallery for the K-mart Kylo. I like this one's saber a deal better than the original's phoenix looking thing and I also feel like the hood should've just been plastic on both versions from the beginning. Mine's hood actually sits like it should for some reason but maybe it's because I've never pulled it down but then I've seen SOOO many online with hoods that look like this one where it's as though it's catching a wind.

Photos came out really well. I really like the Guavian Guard actually. The head design is so different than what I expect in Star Wars.

I love how Phasma dwarfs all the other Star Wars Black figs on my shelf. She's even a hair taller than Vader. Great figure.

I love the Target Store Security Guard Enforcer guy :-P
I have a couple cause they remind me of that cop in the 09 Trek movie (I wonder why) but he is a decent design. But that Constable Zuvio guy looks like he is trying to be a mix of Watto and Toad from the Super Mario games come to life. Just seems like a total waste of resources to make a figure of such a blah character. They could have made Sarco Plank, at least he reminds me of a Tuskin Raider. |

So back when I got the Target two pack I translated Poe's helmet to say "roaehal" on its side which is gibberish but then it says "Poe" one the base of the back which makes sense, but translating what's on the pilot Poe's chest is even more gibberish. Firstly it's rotated upside down but then it translates to "purrto infrate," either Aurebesh doesn't all mean what it used to and the designers were just throwing characters around or this will all make sense later.

Every time I found a Kylo Ren in the wild, I passed. Whenever I wanted to buy him, he was nowhere to be found. So, when I found him last week at Fred Meyers and couldn't afford it, I decided I'd check back on Friday.
I don't know if the ones I found got bought up, because I made a stop at Kmart which had tons of the Starkiller base variant. I'm really happy I passed on the regular release because this one is superior in every way, far as I can tell. Not to mention for only a few bucks more than the regular release. I really, really like this figure. P.s., I've yanked the hood back on my Kylo several times. Looks like I got lucky because mine sits right. Awesome.
