Man, they really should not all be the same height. That works for a line like Fortnite, where all the different skins are roughly the same height for gameplay reasons, but for a thing where the heights are supposed to vary so much, like DC, it really messes things up. I still think the figures look mostly good on their own, but again, the lack of cohesive style is also a downside; that plus the all-the-same-height thing makes this line more suited to getting Just One Figure Of A Character I Like, rather than building a collection around.

Also of note, review wise.
Personally I prefer the molded capes. There are trade offs in both methods, but fabric capes, even great ones like CJESIM style ones, never work or look right for me. So, just keep it plastic, which they did well here. Didn't affect movement or poses for most part so far, for me the way they were done. Rarely do I have them with arms stick em up style. The weapons for Bats and Batgirl with the grappling hook wires - I do prefer that as well, because the strings just sit in a bag never to return. BUT, it would be nice if the wire parts could be removed from guns. So you can have him posed with the gun not in an action pose. |

No. And neither does Superman, that was just a manual head swap from the #1000 Superman figure to show it can be done fairly easily.

I’d just like to see how the Nightwing & Batgirl scale with the DC Essentials Batman. Thanks!

Do you happen to have the NECA Superman from the SDCC, and would you be able to post a headswap pic with the #1000 Superman?

I can add that to the list. I plan on shooting later and this weekend, but need a time out. I've been shooting McFarlane for almost 24 hours with just a break for food and a nap.

I do, I'll check but I don't think the tech will allow for that. But I'll investigate next round.

No actually. Nothing was in my care package, they didn't share pics during announcements. It was just in the text. Will try to ask.

Great shots Tony! I have a couple of requests:
1. A comparison shot of just Batman, Batgirl, and Nightwing. I’d really like to see the height difference between the three. 2. A comparison shot of the Bat-Raptor with other vehicles like the DCC BTAS Batmobile. |

Second one I can't, don't have many vehicles. Only the Mattel RC JL one, and the DCC Animated Batmobile. Neither are really a fair comparison, scale and type of vehicle is off. But, Raptor will be shot in full on the next part. |

Thanks, I've been lurking here for years. Do you have the height for Superman? I just wanna see if he towers over Thor. If They're close in size, I'll probably order a Superman.

I wish nightwing would have had a belt of some kind to hide that diaper-ish waist piece. Man it just looks bad....like mcfarlane doesnt know how to integrate and streamline.

Hmm...I know I was super-critical of these in the other thread, but the in-hand gallery? Hell, I can admit that they look a lot better than I thought.

The official pictures didn't impress but after this gallery it looks like a solid Superman for $20.
Batman also looks better from these in-hand pics but his neck still looks too long. Eh, I've got plenty of Batman as is.
