I had read somewhere that Mezco had ruled out Kano for future releases due to a perceived lack of popularity among fans, (not to mention poor lack of sales with previous lines that featured the character.) Has Mezco reversed this train of thought or announced anything?

On Twitter, they've been shooting down assorted character suggestions. They basically only put in production up to series 2 right now. They have a few waves mapped out beyond that it seems. But it sounds like they're waiting to see if sales allow them to continue the line beyond the first two waves.

Is there any information regarding when Raiden will be available at TRU?

Any chance that these will be at Wal-Mart where the NECA Godzilla/Pacific Rim type stuff is? Raiden is awesome btw.

I don't think Walmart is carrying them. I haven't seen any reports of them there. Better chance at Toys R Us or local comic shop.

Heck yeah! I use it specifically for my Marvel Universe display but they're cheap and they get the job done very well.

Figures. They'll sell the game and the DLC pack but not the figures. Maybe I'll get lucky and Books-A-Million will carry them. If all else fails I can try Amazon or eBay.

I got mine from Hastings, so FYE probably also carries these.

Yeah my TRU also wanted $2 more than when I found 'em at Hastings. I don't have any FYE stores in my area so I can never really speak on them.

That's good to know and I appreciate the tips fellas but the only TRU and the Wolfchase across the street that has an FYE is kind of far out and I only go every once in a while. I'll figure something out I'm sure.
In somewhat related news I got the first trade of the MKX comic in the mail today and it's pretty awesome considering it's a tie-in. Not enough Sub-Zero imo but from what I understand he's in vol. 2 a lot and I've already ordered ordered it off Amazon with some other books I've had my eye on. Too bad it doesn't ship until October though. |

Kenshi and Mileena would be awesome. I think an alternate unmasked head would be favorable to just a removable mask though.

Just picked up all 3 at tru. Figures are much better in hand than pics suggest. I gave raiden's Lightning ball to subzero... Looked more like ice than electricity. Overall, they blow away previous attempts, but still fall short of the "average" adult collectible by groups such as Neca, McFarlane, sideshow, diamond, etc. 7/10 stars from me.
Subzero is the strongest of the offerings, scorpion the weakest. Boyband pretty face under mask really kills it. |

I want mileena to have her toothy evil smile with lips as opposed to the human mouth eith teeth on either side look poking throughnher cheeks. Is it wrong i think mileena is hotter than kitana? Haha

Just ordered Sub-Zero off of Amazon. Pretty sure this is the first 6 inch figure I've bought in a couple of years. Hopefully this will scratch my MK itch until the smaller figures release.

The blue is really nice for a translucent figure. Very icy!

I love me some Sub-Zero, really dig this one too. No fear of breakage either with the clear plastic. Moved around and swapped the hands repeatedly with no issues.

That's good to hear. I'm always so nervous about new figures breaking nowadays.

Oh yeah I'm so glad I got him. Just need to find something that resembles the ice ball.
Definitely going to get Kitana to go with him when she comes out. |
