I would like to know if anyone set up petition or emailed Warner Bros about the ThunderCats line getting cancelled once again. I am not entirely happy with this Lion-o figure, they did kinda make him with goofy hands and tan coloring instead of the orange but he is really freaking cool. I love the design and really hope someone at Warner Bros sees the complaints about the line getting canned right out the gate once again and starts to get their heads out of their butts and renews the contract with Mattel. I think Mattel and Super7 could really do a good job with the line and keep it moving as a collector line as it should be.

Why aren't the cats furry like Hughbert Jackalman?

Yes. There is a petition but not much support for it. https://www.change.org/p/toyaddict26...ure-line-alive |

I really want a full line of Thundercats, made really well, so I, for one, would never sign a petition to have Mattel make them.

If they would make Kaynor (new series Jackalman) I'd be all over that. Not sure why they keep making toys of the old series guys who were a huge joke on the level of Team Rocket. New series Kaynor and Addicus were downright frightening and really effective, plus they had cool updated designs, like Slythe.

Is it just me, or did they not use the remolded head design, cause it looks like the 1st mold head to me.

But also I'm sure they saw the sales numbers for the toys for the new series and thought no way we're touching that. Funny that you say the old stuff is a joke like Team Rocket when the new series smacked of gotta catch 'em all questing for stuff. Thundercats isn't the only one but I'm really sick of the same old premise of new cartoons. |

I'm torn on this line. On the one hand I do want the full 80s cast, (and seriously, if Mattel pumped out Pumyra before Cheetarah, they damn well better get to the *whole* cast), but on the other hand I don't like the thought of getting into the line with the constant fear of Marty killing the line before everyone is made.
I couldn't resist buying Wilykit and Wilycat during that last sale, so I guess I'm in despite my trepidation. |

Haha! That's what I get for not paying as much attention to this line as I should have. That's sad news though, it would have been nice to get the core group.

The Lion-O and Mumm-Ra are so boss here. I'm glad I got just them like that.
Really, if they put out a box set with Cheetara, Tygra, Slythe and Snarf, I'd be happy. Deluxe Ever Living Mumm-Ra seperately. Just give the 4 Horsemen the right to do it in a limited license, direct. Warner Bros - don't leave the fans hanging, again. |

Mumm-ra! He looks so awesome! Seeing the pic with Skeletor and Mumm-ra make me super jealous as I badly want both. I'm sad that we won't get the Ever living version.

That Mumm-Ra is hands down the best toy Mattel has released in like 2 years. A shame they halfassed this line.

This is kind of where I'm at. I'm now seriously considering selling off my Wilykit and Wilykat and putting the money towards something else.

I wouldn't be too hasty. Super 7 might acquire the license sometime in 2017. And then, the key word is "might". I'm certain that they understand the demand.

If Super 7 acquires ThunderCats and if it has legs, you might see 2011 versions of the main characters as a way to refresh them. It isn't like the ThunderCats have plenty of variants, unless you're talking comic book colors, LJN colors or the "Exodus" versions from the first episode. |

I so wish these were done in 3 3/4 Scale. I was so happy when I heard the reimagined line was going to be offered in that scale until I saw them. Please Please Super 7 make them in 3 3/4 scale.
