Hello everyone!
I'm back to Tokyo for a couple of days and wanted to share with you my last pics of some toy stores I had the chance to visit. I hope the thread is in the good place! I'm there for a couple of days so if you have specific requests about toys you'd like me to specifically take pics of, don't hesitate! New TF series with cute Microman drivers included This new display for St Seiya is great... I'll try to get one for my MU Hercules

Quick trip to Tokyo this week... didn't have a lot of time to hunt toys but took some pics for you guys anyway!
I hope you enjoy! I've been lucky with MUs and Joes, but not this time! It seems that US Toys are getting scarce, because of these guys: Some nice displays: I like the JP package of TMNT... the price is almost the same that in the US, wich is very impressive

zomg I love those TMNT packages.
What scale are those (what I assume to be) Disk Wars figures?

Yes, they are indeed Disk Wars figs!
I didn't have a MU to compare with, but I'd say they would be slightly bigger?

I'm so jealous man! A couple friends of mine are in Tokyo at the moment as well, but they are not toy collectors. I found this awesome place in Akihabara just past the "infamous" softmap on the same side of the street. Only second hand toy store I found and it was small, but really cool.

Just curious is this the TRU at Odaiba? That was the only one I made it to in 2012 when I was there. That place was so cool just to see the giant Gundam and Fuji TV Building.

That's awesome thanks for sharing. If that is a TRU puts the US TRU's to shame!! Especially with all those awesome TF selections that they have there. Granted I know those are Takara but dang very nice.

?????-?????????????????????????????????????????? Anyway since the live movie was aired years ago, Transformers is big again in the toy stores in Japan. And with their influence, other companies are doign transforming toys again like we had all of those transforming watches, etc. in the 80es. They also get a fair amount of limited editions of Masterpieces. I have passed both yellow and golden MP Bumblebees, and they have another one I don't remember the name who looks like Wheeljack but with a more agressive face. As for the store, this is the "Bic Camera" of Yurakucho. Bic Camera is a chain of electronic stores, but few years back they began to sell toys as well with the increase in number of tourists so they could sell everything in one point. If you have the chance to go to Japan, unless you are searching for something rare, old or specific, Bic Camera or Yodobashi Camera (the rival chainstore) is the place to go nowadays as there are a lot of them almost everywhere and they basically sell every toy minus 10 to 30% from the public retail price.
