2005 Boards Member GenZhao has shared these images of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Class Barricade with us. This is essentially the same Barricade that was released for the first Movie, with a slightly modified paint job and a new accessory - the grabber arms that extend out of the headlights to terrorize a scared Sam Witwicky. This new accessory takes the place of Frenzy, who came with the first release of the mold.

2005 Boards member GenZhao has also shared these new images of a repaint of the 2007 Movie Jazz toy with us. This toy is suspected to be the Smokescreen that was previously listed in store computers as an upcoming product, although as you can see from the pictures, he is quite a departure from the primarily red rally car that we are used to seeing! Click the title of this story to see the images and decide for yourself.

A pair of new images have been revealed of Justitoys WST Shockwave. Shockwave is seen here in gun mode, but the big surprise is the new accessory - a giant fist to hold the gun, based on the fists of Generation 1 Bruticus. This part looks as though it will be compatible with your Generation 1 or Transformers Encore Bruticus, or any of the numerous Ruination repaints. Stay tuned for more information on this cool new piece!

A pair of new images of PerfectEffect's "The Another War" sword have been posted on HK-TF.com. This custom piece is based on The Matrix Blade used in the final episode of Robots in Disguise, and represents a version of the sword scaled down to be in scale with most Voyager and Ultra class Transformers. These new images are color test versions, and so the product will likely still change a little before the final version.

TV Shows On DVD has posted an article today that reveals news from Home Media Magazine that the complete series of Transformers Generation 1 will be released on DVD this year!
Shout! Factory’s first release under the agreement will be The Transformers: The Complete First Season — 25th Anniversary Edition. The set is slated for June 16 (prebook May 19), a week before the big-screen debut of the Michael Bay-directed feature film sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, due in theaters June 24. The $29.99 three-DVD set will include the original broadcast versions of all 16 episodes from the 1984 season in the intended storyline order, with remastered picture and a new stereo soundtrack created from the original audio. The Rhino releases featured incomplete work prints of episodes and modified sound effects. Tentative extras include the featurette “Triplechanger: From Toy to Comic to Screen: The Origins of the Transformers,” a printable script, rare PSAs, toy commercials and a limited-edition Autobot magnet. Foos said Shout! Factory would follow the release with special complete-series sets of “The Transformers” and “G.I. Joe” later this summer. The complete series sets will contain additional bonus content above and beyond the bonus content featured on the individual season sets. |

We have several auctions of interest for you tonight, all from Ebay seller anglo. We are delving into the weird and wonderful Japanese released Transformers, who are more than capable of taking a Unicron-sized bite out of your bank balance!
The first auction that caught my eye is this Headmaster, Trizer. Trizer was one of six replacement Headmaster heads, released in Japan only in 1987. The idea behind them was that they could be switched between the main released Headmasters, and used as replacements if you lost the original head (and I'm sure most of us, and one time or another, owned a "Headless master"!) All six of the heads rarely turn up on Ebay, and that is why Trizer here is the first part of this feature! Moving from one rarity to another, we have Guard City, who was one of the very last items released in the Generation 1 line, in Japan in 1992. He's a redeco of Generation 1's Defensor, and the set is very rarely seen - and extremely rarely seen in a box in near pristine condition like this one! Just try not to look at the price, trust me on that. This Beastformers boxed set is also noteworthy. These ten Battle Beasts are among those who actually appeared in the Japanese Headmasters series, and includes the "Burstsun" variant of the White Lion, only available in this set. Other auctions of interest include the huge Grand Maximus, Big Powered giftset of Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Roadfire, plus Transformers Victory's Star Saber and Victory Leo. Each of these are not uncommon, but worth mentioning for being items that have rarely if ever been removed from the styrofoam, and having unapplied stickers. These are some of the very best examples of Japanese Transformers, in what is possibly the best condition available (excepting Dai Atlas' yellowing). Unfortunately the prices do reflect this, but check them out to see some of the items that appear on many fan's collection grail lists. |

Alex Milne has uploaded an extremely cool piece of art for TFCon 2009 onto his Deviant Art account. The artwork depicts the Bumblebees of Generation 1 and the Classics series side by side and will be featured on a T Shirt available at TFCon.
TFCon will be taking place on April 25th and 26th at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel Toronto Airport, with special guest of honor Dan Gilvezan who played Generation 1 Bumblebee among many other characters in both Transformers Generation 1 and other cartoon series, including Spider-Man on Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends!
