A new third party group, Voodoo Robots, has entered the scene of unofficial product by revealing what looks to be a masterpiece inspired Ratchet figure. Revealed earlier this week on their Facebook page, we've got a good look at both the alternate and robot modes in the prototype stage, which shows off a very promising take on Ratchet's G1 silhouette.

Thanks to TFW2005 boards member tomac66 for passing along a new image of the upcoming Masterpiece Road Rage. Road Rage is seen here in a scan from the Future King Magazine in a comparison shot to her G1 figure (who would have thought we'd be seeing this pair of Masterpiece and G1 counterparts in our collecting lifetime).

And the news just keeps on coming. This time we have test shot images of X-Transbot's Arkose, their take on Beachcomber, spotted by TFW2005 user daimchoc on Transbridge Omegalock's Facebook page. As seen here this guy appears to be compatible with at least Dr. Wu's Spike and Sparkplug so there may be hope for the MP-10 and MP-22 figures as well! All in all, this piece is looking pretty good, so here's hoping the final product looks just as good if not better when it comes out, which is tentatively scheduled for June. Now, check out those pictures and give us your thoughts on this bad boy!
Staff edit: More images have been mirrored courtesy of X-Transbots' Facebook page. |

Thanks to the Facebook page of the Lunar Toy Store, we have a really cool project that was just revealed by Spark Toys. Shown off in its prototype stage is a Don Figueroa inspired design of "The War Within Optimus Prime." The War Within is a six-part miniseries published by Dreamwave Comics in the early 2000's. Some more information from Spark Toys:
Improvements are still being applied to the figure, but this is a very close look at what is to come. Its about the same size as MP-08 Grimlock. Hit the discussion link below to share your thoughts on this figure and be sure to check out the pics after the jump. |

More news continues to trickle in for this potential Generations / Combiner Hunters Arcee, this update we thought was worth sharing. In the new batch of images, from Facebook user Oscar Fung and TFW2005 member daimchoc, we've learned this figure has new hands that look to be 5mm compatible and can hold standard pegged weapons now. Some collectors found the regular release of Arcee to have some slight issues with the way her fists were molded, so this may be a welcome change.
Make the jump to see the mirrored images and be sure to post in the ongoing thread for these potential Generations releases! |

Coming to us from Kelvin Chan of the Talk Transformers Facebook group, it would appear as though Takara's Unite Warriors Superion is going to be released to our fellow Transfans in Australlia! Right now, as it stands, it appears as though this set will be a Toys'R'Us exclusive that is slated for a July release, but the price is currently not known. Another interesting tidbit in the set is that the name of Silverbolt's shield was voted for by some Aussie fans, which is a pretty cool thing all around. This would be good news indeed for our brothers and sisters down there, and here's hoping Menasor and other combiners join them as well. Take a look at the pictures of the box front, and some of the instruction booklet provided by Kelvin, and give us your thoughts, and some congratulations to our fellow fans down in Australia, after the jump!

New images of RID 2015 Wave 4 Warrior and Legion figures have been found on Robot Kingdom's Facebook Page. We now have a good look at both Grimlock's and Bumblebee's repaints.
Gold Armor Grimlock seems to be a straight up repaint with a G1-style scheme, and a new head sculpt. Elbows look unchanged, but unknown if the issue with the first Grimlock has fixed. Stealth Bumblebee gets a color reversal... and now has yellow wheels! Both waves are in stock and available for order! I personally don't recall seeing this elsewhere. Japanese toy site Juusankaidan has images for a Japanese Kreon Capsule Vending Machine. They posted a detailed gallery of the G1 style Bumblebee that came from the machine, as well as a few images of the vending machine itself. According to the site, these popped up in February and are priced at 200 yen each (about $1.61 USD).
You can read on for the images. If they've been reported on before, then please enjoy this refresher. |

Who summons Megatron?
Peace through tyranny! Our next gallery is a long-overdue look at the Generations Combiner Wars Leader class Megatron! This Megatron goes back to the iconic original Megatron look, and boy, does he deliver - the robot mode is a fantastic update that captures so much of the original design. In getting his classic look updated, Megatron has traded up his gun mode for a powerful looking tank mode. This gives the robot mode some tank elements, including the tank gun as the iconic Megatron arm cannon (with option to flip it round for a more Generation 1 look). If we had to pick one flaw, it's the shoulders - they sit rather low, so rotating the arms 90 degrees forward looks awkward. There's plenty of poses that hide this, though, so it can be worked around - and it does allow for a fully rotateable tank turret. Overall, Leader Megatron is a fantastic example of the service Hasbro is doing for fans - a robot mode that is quite possibly the definitive Classics-style robot, an awesome tank, and plenty of scope to recreate many iconic poses, including the "such heroic nonsense" pose. Check out our gallery to see for yourself! Combiner Wars Leader Megatron gallery |

TFW2005 boards member DecepticusPrime comes to us tonight with news of a potential new product listing being found in a store database, this time being Leader Class Skywarp - which, if true, will presumably be a repaint of the Leader Thundercracker/Starscream mold. Perhaps this will be fully revealed at one of the upcoming conventions?
