#15 | Hasbro has done everything but end the line in a definite capacity. I'd say they will continue to keep the door open for future opportunities, but things will have to be really conducive for them to revive the line. Hasbro refuses to never say never
The possibility is always there, but until we get another sort of update, it's less likely to happen. | Creative Forum Moderator Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Wake Forest, NC

#17 | | I think Hasbro does that to catch grown up G1 fans from back in the day. They already know us collectors are picking up reissues through Takara/Tomy or KO's and I'm sure there's a contract between Hasbro and Takara/Tomy that would explain it. | Seeker of Revenge Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Maryland

#18 | | I find this surprising. I've been hunting the classics waves for the past couple of months and have yet to see an Ironhide. All I'm seeing now are Prowl and Sunstreaker. | Join Date: Oct 2008

#19 | | Yes, some of the original Transformers were originally designed for numerous Japanese toy lines that Hasbro either licensed or bought the rights to. For example Optimus Prime was originally a toy produced by Diaclone called Battle Convoy. | Seeker of Revenge Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Maryland

#23 | | One of the best Transformers ever made used a mold from one of the best toylines ever made. Jetfire was made from a Bandai Macross 1/55 VF-1S mold, using the nose/fuselage section from the VE-1 ELINT Seeker, and FAST pack armor that came with the Takatoku 1/55 VF-1S. Other Takatoku molds such as those used for Dorvack were used in Transformers as Roadbuster, Whirl, et al. | SHINMA SITH UNLEETHED!!!! Join Date: Oct 2008

#25 | | I think this thread is talking about toys that came FROM Transformers that were carried into other takara lines. Like all the repainted TFs in the Brave series. | Join Date: Oct 2008
