Welcome Sector15! Double Entendres & rude jokes are the best way to make an entrance!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but according to OrderSixtySix's newsletter Hasbro UK will NOT be getting wave 3 of the Avengers. So that means no Widow, no Hawkeye and no Skrulls. I'd love this to be wrong, but it sounds so, so familiar that I can't see it being wrong. I'm now scouring the Bay for a not ridiculously priced Widow. No luck yet... Hopefully we will get wave 4 or 5 (if there is one) which may have repacks. Fingers crossed. |

I asked the question about the Hawkeye/Widow wave on Hasbro UK's Facebook page. The reply was that their Marvel expert was on an extended Jubilee break and would reply when they returned.
A couple of others on there have asked the same question with the same reply. I've added a gentle reminder so hopefully we'll get an official reply. It's not looking good though is it. I'm really fed up (probably like a lot of you) that we get wave 1 and 2 to oblivion and miss some of the cool stuff that comes in the later waves. Or we find bits and bobs at the Pound stores months later. |

(Im gonna get a Bane IF I see one)

They are pretty good. I maybe should pick some up because I'll want some customs when I've seen the movie.
I'm having to a bit carefull with what I'm buying at the moment with times being hard. if I buy something it has to be either a) cheap or b) I can use all of it. I just want to throw a quick thanks to Mr Longest Day for his Tony Stark custom using a Shia head from the Indy range. I bought one and put it on my SDCC Destro suit body and it looks pretty good. Best off all it was cheap . |

Yep i know what you mean Chris,im doing the exact same(well trying too anyway!!) Hahaha!! Iv been speaking to Krexx over on HT,(he used to be lead sculptor at SDS),he's setting up shop, and a Bane head is on his to do list,so i dont know if i should wait for that,or pick up a Bane+Crossbones figure like Ross said...that military look is pretty fricking sweet, and relatively easy to do as well.....

I bought some 1mm magnets to mount weapons 2 the arms of a figure I'm playing about with. A little dremmel and greenstuff and the work a treat and it only cost me £3 for 50. I saw someone used them to mount removable gear onto a backpack.

Lee what sort of magnets are you using? I'm gobsmacked I never thought of using them before but the results so far are really good.
On the subject of the Black Widow/Hawkeye wave Hasbro UK's Facebook page has gone very very quiet. So I've asked the question again. While I was browsing the Rebelscum forums I saw in the Non-SW Findings thread a post by Kanorjax (does he post here?). Apparently the new Avengers wave has shipped to comic stores today. From what I can gather he owns one so should know. Anyone out there confirm this. If not keep your eyes peeled guys. I might still get Hawkeye for my birthday . |

ugh Those Widows are so hard to get for a reasonable price. I just want one for my birthday, and I know scalpers just bought a bunch of them just to sell at a ridiculous price
