That was a good deal for 2 of them.getting dragonman will require being in the right place at the right time also toy prices are up and down,so try hold onto any legends you use,MU may not hold its value in a few years time.unless its box sets.

lol,i may change it one one more time.not really feeling that one!
maybe they will be sought after 20 years from now.but it may be MOC investors that earn their dollar back.but then again a loose figure in perfect condition with all its accessories??? its hard for me to gauge because i never got into collecting to make an investment.i just see people here there and everywhere going wild on prices for older pieces, which kinda makes me glad i held on to some gems from my toybiz legends collecting days |

They're are fewer and fewer 3.75" high dollar pieces for our line. It is a good thing though. I never set out to be an "investment collector" just if given an option, would go for the rarer variant if possible. I've always seen it has his anyway. I almost never say "my" if you notice, it is always "ours" when I speak of figures.
In time MU will be like 90's five inch Toy Box stuff. 3.75" will have most likely, fallen way out of favour. Perhaps a resurgence in the future for our line with new characters released on highly articulated fresh one off sculpts. That day comes, our figures are relatively worthless. That's OK though, as I know I army built like a champ.

Yeah never a good ideal to go into figure collecting as investing :P I remember when this figure was worth $100 back then if I remember correctly...the Nick Fury Mail away figure exclusive...
Access Denied yeah it happened with spideyhulk also and a few legends, but the originals still hold their value. |

Saw a review for that AT-AT. Hasbro have concentrated on the walking / firing gimmick to the exclusion of playability. Only fits 1 figure in the head ffs! And then to charge the amount they were...

Yeah.... Glad I didn't decide to collect Rogue One because I would have to buy two of them!!!! Great price now though for someone on the fence about picking one up.
VITRUVIAN H.A.C.K.S. series 2 up for UK pre-order http://www.idtoys.co.uk/vitruvian-h-a-c-k-s/ They also have the GotG set and the Spider-Man Homecoming sets will be in next week! Seems to have sensible prices, free shipping £50, and it is a small independent shop. Forbidden Planet is a large multinational faceless corporation. Just saying... I would prefer to support the little guy. Edit:they have them now!!!! Shocker set is pre-order but Vulture is in stock. Link below is "page 2" see "page 1" for other 3.75" stuff http://www.idtoys.co.uk/brands/Hasbr...eatured&page=2 (Just look under HASBRO to see all)

£22.99... it just gets steeper. That's 6" Legend / Star Wars Black level money.
The Vulture pack... £29.99. Just no. That's too expensive too. Those things are literally $20 in the US, and we're paying nearly $40. I imagine the movie means that they will appear at general retail, so I'll wait. |

I dunno... 30 seems legit. We won't get them at retail either, just my hunch. The Dr. Strange set sold out quick everywhere at that price point. Don't get me wrong, I feel ya, but I don't see them getting any cheaper than 30.
I am not doing MCU or modern stuff (yet) so I'm really only after that Shocker. Like the Spider-Man but after seeing the comparison shots he seems huge now. Also, same goes for the older Shocker. After seeing the pics of it with painted grill marks I kind of like him more..... Can't decide. Plus found the old Shocker from a seller on Taoboa for less than a tenner. I just don't think we will be seeing these at Tesco, ASDA or Sainsbury's. Chance of them at Toys R Us but the GotG pack or Doc Strange didn't show. Fingers crossed though.

The Strange set was well late to retail - no chance of it seeing mass release. Not that we see anything at retail anymore. I think they'll ship the Homecoming packs more heavily, especially with the movie due out. £29.99 is too much for me, though. I think it will get cheaper. Heck, if I could get the pack for $15 from the US with $15 shipping it would be cheaper than the UK!
On another note; that Shocker is actually a modern MCU look (Superior Foes). Spiderman looks like he's been working out... |

Check out post #28833 on page 1154 of the main MU thread JB. The pic universe posted....
I'm sure you have one of those pictured to compare next to baghead. I have ZERO idea as I don't own any of those Spideys pictured. I'm interested as well to know. My guess is yeah, he would be bigger. And I feel LH. I'm on your side buddy. It is just what it is mate. Here is the best deal perhaps out there. It was emailed to me from a fellow arker looking to go in with someone and buy a few sets. £23 to your door.... Amazon US is a bit cheaper but the shipping is more and might get hit with a customs charge coming from US (looks over shoulder after mentioning taboo subject) where as from Hong Kong you will not get hit. Element Plus Bottom line... the price increase for us sucks donkey balls. The line is more expensive than ever. The quality is lower than ever. Now they are are slowly creeping up the scale so they no longer fit in with the rest. I'm sort of taking a break as I have mentioned. Going backwards, filling a few gaps. Army building Ultron, and Moloids. Buying 400+ protech stands. Building a display area....that sort of stuff. There are many ways to stay in the game, keep buying stuff for the collection AND not give HASBRO my money to support the current state of things. When you pay them for crap, you are basically saying not only is it acceptable, but encouraging it. In the next two weeks we will either be underwhelmed with this year's SDCC 3.75" Marvel offering or be completely disappointed when we get absolutely nothing at all. As you know, in 2014 we got Ant Man with a coat and in 2015 we got COLLECTOR. Basically two figures in two years and one was a slightly modified existing figure.... so I am keeping my hopes REALLY low this year. I mean really low. I'm expecting nothing at all or maybe a piece of paper printed and they call it Flat Man from the MidWest Avengers.

2014 was the IG set, bro.collector set was last year.id imagine AoA magneto and jess jones will get shown again perhaps a few new reveals.but keep in mind 2017 is the year the 3.75 line contract has to be renewed.if they are even going to do that.no doubt it will be a jizz fest for 6" legends collectors.was in hamleys earlier nothing new, grabbed a few chameleons for the suit body.......just in case hasbro throw a curve ball and finally give us a kingpin, always nice to have bodyguards!!! |

The head is finished being sculpted. It is in Ireland and will be in the post I the morning!!!
LH.... Bad Goliath from Masters of Evil. Based of his look from the Super Helicarrier artwork from 2012. ML PILEDRIVER body under a custom sculpted ML Wrecker head. He sculpted this version with the mouth open as the original isn't apparently. He had sculpted the cut lines consistent with Wrecker but smoothed them over with miliputt for this look. Gave him his "angry eyes" that are yellow. For the body, I got a headless ML. PILEDRIVER from China Bay like two years ago maybe. Perfect base for him. Took AGES to source the right head. Then two weeks ago I stumbled across a cat name Ben from Ireland. He is starting a little side hustle sculpting rare ML heads. He casts the original htf ones and then sculpts a original version of them but different. He had them showcased on a PILEDRIVER body and I seriously almost peed a little. £8 quid for a cast of his original sculpture.... Painted too! I asked if he could do the open mouth one matched to the orange. He did it and it looks great. I have had to modify the Base figure a bit and will paint the brownish red colour on the body, boots and head when it arrives. Should be pretty spot on!!!!
