I wants it... I have been eyeballing him for awhile. 50+ is what he usually is. Saw him for 40 on a ML UK FB group. I'm like that figure about £25 kind of like. Cheers for the tip
Also, popping my popcorn now and queuing up Thiller Michael Jackson cinema scene picture now in anticipation of the following comments!!! Hope it gets good......

I think a big issue is the shipping cost to the U.K. Every time I send something over there I'm taken aback by the cost (it always seems like it's AT LEAST $20). I know for me personally it's just cheaper to go hunting or buy on eBay or Amazon even here in the US due to shipping cost than to have a fellow collector snag something for me, and I live in a VERY competitive city for collecting.

it seemed to be the case for the past few years in your country, distribution to some states is non existent and i think canada got cut off for a while.seems like hasbro are just focusing on the cities/countries that still have moderate sales. |

I got that too Kern's, in regard to shipping- both domestic and abroad. Out of control. It is possible, most may not know you are in Ireland JB. It is the UK thread and your description says on an island. Also, I was unaware it was cheaper to send to you there.
In my mind I use two different narrative voices when I read Jackie's posts. Voice one, the happy JB; I tend to use a Bob Ross happy trees sort of voice. In his more angry rants, I read them as Trevor from GTA. Nothing but love for you homie! Just thought I would share that.

I find it strange how much more expensive it is to send something from the US than it is to send something to there.
Regardless, Amazon.com is the only way I buy stuff from the US now. Incidentally (at the risk of restarting an old argument), my postie actually told me that parcels from the US are targeted for customs duty.

Most are forced to eBay extortionate World Parcel programme which jacks the price AND adds a duty even if well below the £35 value limit. Not sure how it goes in Ire but here they pretty much violate us.....ya know, in a sexual manner. For a Queen she sure is a top!

Speaking of Amazon.com, the Enchantress/Executioner set is available for $19.99 at the moment. (£24 including shipping/fees)

The £35 was a typo... meant £15, didn't notice.
This shipping and fees reason is why I am super stoked about the ZOMBIE LABS figures! It will be £22 per figure, free shipping and no duty. They are shipped directly from Hong Kong, as it is a Hong Kong based company and idea. I think it is a great deal. Since they have already got their funding it is a real thing now. We can buy from their store around March. Also, shipping from Hong Kong is so fast, a couple of days to one week tips. Mainland China takes three weeks or more sometimes. And that whole duty argument when that dude left... lame. All he stated was he worked for the government. Over 40% of the population is employed by them in one form or another. Company man I guess. Anyway, he sold his 3.75" stuff and just hung on for the nostalgia of it all. I say, sell your toys then quit the ark. Blood in blood out. 24 quid is a good price. Might be cheaper in time, but I expect this set to eventually sell out. I also like what JimmyO said about supporting local e-buisness that carry them so they may continue in the future. These two packs have HAD to have done well for HASBRO. Just wondering what we get for Avengers Infinity War when it comes out in April? I could see them skipping Black Panther, but maybe not. MCU have unmasked Panther and movie Claw, and the comic pack have M'Baku and white clothed Storm classic 90's look...those would FLY off the shelves.

Got the Sinister Six pack today. Really disappointed that a set of figures that is released in display type packaging cannot be opened without destroying the packaging. I simply cannot see the logic for it. Kraven's legs also seem to have been taken from a booted figure and then painted, but because he wears slippers it looks like he has cankles!
EDIT: Has anyone ever tried heating around a bubble to loosen the glue, and then resealing later? Last edited by Lionheart; 08-08-2017 at 10:30 PM.. |

I know that they use tape on our cards now a lot for theft deterrent but not sure if the did it on these as the are a box set and connected accordian style. As long as the acetone makes it underneath you should have a somewhat easy time. Maybe run an x-acto blade just a millimetre or two so it can get in there to work.
I have actually used that craft glue myself, there is NONE better for paper and card. I wouldn't risk using something else personally. I still want that set to display on a small floating shelf (the little square ones that have no visible holder brackets and appear to "float" against the wall) underneath a framed copy of the cover they were modeled from. I just think that would look ace! Like I said before, I could see the missus allowing that to hang just about anywhere in the house. She hates toys and comic books but that could look very chìc and high end. Good luck k and let us know how you got on with opening and resealing them. I loved how he used ice lolly sticks and office clips to clamp the blister pack down in the video. Very clever that. Also, did you notice that he had the glue in a syringe so he could get a tiny thin bead of glue? I thought that was genius as well.

Here is that Groot in white if you were still looking Oscar. If you want it red, Pilk can set you up. Cheap enough and local no hassles Amazon purchase. Just thought I'd let you know, they have been out of stock forever but are back in now.

That is coming along nicely. I like the way it is minimally against the wall and not taking up ANY floor space. A lot of wow going on for such a small spacial footprint. Even has an Art Deco stylized vibe to it to.
I've been hard at it with floor stands, flight stands and LOADS of rifle upgrades.
