Picked up the new Hulk today from FP, they didn't have any of the other new singles though.
They did have the FF set with clear Invisible Woman though which is particularly annoying as I've just paid £11 (£8 'handling' fee) customs charge importing the set from the US.

That's what I meant - I got charged fees on buying the set from eBay.

I hate hate hate hate hate import duty. It sucks especially badly that they dropped the limit after not increasing it for over ten years. You can now barely import anything. There's nothing quite like paying someone to *not* deliver an item you've paid to have delivered.

I have had so many rows with the people at the post office, I don't see why I should have to pay VAT on something I cannot buy in the UK.
It's not even the VAT it's the poxy charge they class as a "handling fee", Surely thats what the postage is for seeing as they only do half the job. Although I did have UPS turn up and ask for £70 on the doorstep before he would release my parcel, its all fun and games in the UK

There is literally nothing about this system - from the low import threshold (unfair and unrealistic, designed purely to guarantee people fall foul of it) the handling charge (unwanted and should not have a cost) to VAT (often charged on items you can't buy here) to the delaying of packages which *belong* to you and they are ransoming since postage has been paid - which stands up to scrutiny. It's a massive scam. Import duty for the US is something like $200. We're being cheated. Quote:

There's no logic to it at all. The system is broken, and in the age of the internet that's unforgivable. It's literally a fucking scam.
When you've already paid for something to be delivered to you, for them to block it and say you can't have it until you pay makes a mockery of paying postage at all. And for them to then charge you the ludicrous £8 'handling' fee for something you don't want - and haven't even asked them to do, is the biggest scam of all. Shipping costs are not too bad either but you WILL get hit with the usual tax and handling fee.
For those in london Orbital had AIM soldiers and carded MU green goblins for £5.99 yesterday along with wave 18 and 19 at the usual prices

Got my Temple of Darkness Sorceress today, I'd had to pay £16 to get her from Parcel Force, so she wound up being very damn pricey indeed! In a stroke of luck, they delivered my King Grayskull and Great Unrest Weapons Pack at the same time, the combined value of which (they were packaged together) was greater than the stated value of Sorceress, but there was no charge for them - result! Baffling, but still a result!
I know that the above was not MU, but I had to sing it to someone that would understand... Quote:

Hopefully Target and Walmart will do the same thing! Quote:
