Found the Captain America Marvel Legends in Toys R Us yesterday. Picked up the WW2 Cap, A.I.M and Hydra Soldier figures for £19.99 each. All the others were there aside from Zemo, the stealth suit Cap and Red-Skull.

If anyone's after a helmetless Juggernaut, Colossus, Silver Surfer or Doctor Strange the Entertainer had those comic packs in today for £10.

They also had Bilbo / Gollum pack for £6.50, or Bilbo alone for £2. Not bad packs for LotR fans. |

Cool, glad you guys were successful!
Entertainer is a strange place, sometimes it gets stuff first, other times it's more like Home Bargains and gets job lots of stuff on the cheap. Just working on customising my KO Groot!

Hey fellas, still looking at figures and as im new i am wondering are the Marvel Universe Infinite figures a follow up to the Universe line or are they totally new? is it like starting from scratch again as in will i be better to start collecting these seeing as they only came out recently then that gives me chance to be in from the beginning and collect them all or do i stay with the Universe seeing as i have just bought my first set, 2 comic packs and 2 single carded figures???? cheers.

They are a re-branded continuation. They were re-branded because retailers apparently understood the Avengers brand more than the generic 'Marvel Universe' one. So they re-branded Marvel Universe as 'Marvel Infinite' - which has nothing to do with the Avengers, and completely failed to get them on the shelves any better than they did with MU - proving what they said was a complete lie. Then along the way they; took more stuff out the packages, made the packaging generic and cheap looking, cheapened the plastic, lessened the articulation, and constantly hiked the price (I believe the latest was something like 30%). They want to kill the line or the scale - one of the two.
Ironically, it just keeps selling regardless. So, as MU / Infinite are the same, you can't start from Infinite and hope to see the same characters we've had with MU. Don't try collecting everything unless you have a *lot* of disposable cash. Start with buying characters you like and work up from there, but to start a line 6 years in and try and complete it would cost a lot of cash indeed. Good luck! |

Also read bad things about the articulation being scaled back, although that might not matter to me if i keep them in the box, thats going to be hard mind as they look ace and i want to handle them in the flesh. Liking what I see of ACBA. Going to stick with Universe as at the moment there looks to be plenty about and if I'm honest with myself I can't see me wanting to buy the more obscure Marvel characters so won't get the full collection, maybe 75% of it, although started off badly with that as I picked up two from a guy on eBay, was meant to be Captain America and Iron Man and after paying for them he got in touch and said he couldn't find Iron Man (bummer) so offered me Gladiator at a reduced rate, was very disappointed as its one I probably wouldn't have gone for but Capt was such a good price thought I may as well crack on with the deal. My two comic packs have arrived today and they look really good. Like you say I'll start with my favourites and see where that gets me, cheers. |

Love Spiderman and Hulk, so was thinking all spideys and his villains and all Hulks and the Avengers, like most X-men but there are a hell of lot of mutants, Liking the bigger figures too like Thanos and Apocalypse, sounds like I've got a task on my hands, oh my Mrs is not going to be happy, ha

TK MAXX has some Thor 2 figures in..... saw them at 2 different stores today. I didnt see Dark Elves at the 2 I went to. Also, went to 2 different B&M Home Bargains and they both had GotG 2.5" Milano ships in for £7.99
Was getting an MOT done at QWIK FIT and was killing time walking around town centre. This is what was available up here in the North, thought i'd share with everyone. Oh and a mate said he saw the new wave MI at The Entertainer. He didnt know that much about them but he said the little (3.75") and there was a weird Spider Man and a "chick" that was black and white..... Could be Big Time and Black Cat....or old MU Aurora and FF Spidey

They were scheduled for US release along time ago. Apparently there was a strike and everything sat on ships in ports. The figures were shipped 8-10 weeks ago. The strike JUST ended over the weekend and the major toy e-tailers are already shipping.
That said, it could be the new wave.... I don't have any faith in it. I do know some UK ebay sellers have them so maybe. There are no figures I will be getting from this wave though. I might snag a couple Bishops for trade bait if opportunity arises. Really been focusing on army building. Just a couple of bits and bobs needed on each army to finish them up. Also working on more customs and some commissions from some others great customization masters. Only ULTRONS in the upcoming waves I am into. Those will just be clones for Ultron Prime. I don't care for Spiderman or X-Men at all. I have the 90's line-up from the cartoon, the starting line-up, and have a showdown beast. Really looking forward when it shifts again over to Secret Wars. I just don't know that much about X-Men'to get them all. Might do someday as I am too into collecting to not get them. For now though, we are good. I never got into Spidey because we had most of them in our Legends collection. Started them at a charity shop!! Got even MacFarlane Spidey for 75 p!!! Then after Avengers Assemble came out on DVD and Earth' s Mightiest Heroes cartoon came out...Christmas 2012 was all about Avengers MU. Went that scale because of the Hellicarrier playset, and my love of childhood GI Joe. Starting grabbing them, then army building. If we wanted to get Spidey now with Anti Venom and the Kingpin from Fort and all the villains it would run close to 300 quid. We would rather just do without the Spidey verse for now. Who knows about the future....

Lucky you, I couldn't get one when they were 10 euros here in France... I'm no fan of the 2/5" scale but at that price, I would just had him hang out with my vintage MASKs

Found Black Cat at the Disney store, just one case, Bishop and Beast gone so an X-Men fan had obviously been in. Incidentally the Entertainer had an empty peg of MI so if they have got them then they'll be in soon. Also they'd restocked the Nintendo 4" so picked up a Link.

Meant to say figure was £12, not sure whether that's just Disney store pricing or a price increase.
Link on the other hand was £8, half what he's going for on eBay.

Not Universe but snagged the new ML Thor in my local Entertainer earlier. They also had the 2.5" AOU 2 packs for £13 a pop.

I want that MK43 IM suit....I never got the MK42 from the HALL OF ARMOURS so it is perfect. Wouldnt mind the new (well, use the word NEW loosely) BW to use for a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent body. Love that blue stripe!
