I just stumbled across a Hector Hammond figure from the Green Lantern flick. It is a seller in China, so was this guy never released to retail? I've never seen/heard of it.

He's not unreleased. BBTS should have a few of him and Morro.
Both are sitting on my shelf right now. He'd make an absolutely PERFECT base for a Tim Drake figure. The sculpting on his head sucks, but body wise, he's the best movie master figure, as he's constructed exactly the same way as all DCUC toys.

Hammond
Gallus Zed Morro Parallax Killowog Krona Isamot Sinestro Maskless Hal These are all the ones who're near, or impossible to find at retail because of wave one. As I mentioned weeks ago in the GL Movie Masters thread, the entire line *did* get released, and the stars are late in the game. Isamot, and Morro were awesome. Hector, like I said, with a different head is the star of the line, with so much potential (Mostly as Tim Drake). Parallax does not photograph well, but is a lot more impressive in person. My big complaint with it, is they should have made a big stand for it, and not even bothered with a humanoid shape so it could stand on it's own. But there are layers upon layers of details. (It even comes with a tiny Jordan that you can put inside it's rib cage like he was eaten)

He's got the best articulation outta the whole line. Edit: Wait, I thought this was the 3.75 inch line, my mistake. Last edited by yourfacehere; 01-18-2012 at 11:11 PM.. |

They have him, too. Probably bought him from Matty. But their price isn't much more. Check the link I gave if you don't believe me.

Also, is it wrong to want Maskless Hal just for Bzzd?

Winners has them for 5 bucks a pop [not the "hard as shit figure" but the normal ones] Can't seem to buy them. Talk me into it, or keep me out of it.
Start now.

I'm pretty convenced most of the people who keeps trashing the Movie Masters have never bought one, and never really even paid attention to them. Sinestro and Hal suck, but the aliens don't. And they fit in well enough with the DCUC Lanterns. It's just ashame that the first wave clogged everything up so badly, that the later waves never got to show up in most places, because it's with them that it really shined. But Rot Lop Fan, and Naut Ki Loi are definately worth the $5 Winners wants for them.

Their sculpting is good, but their articulation really *is* bad. And I'm not one to complain. They have all the good points, but the way the joints are designed, it limits their range of movements dramatically. (They may as well not have elbow joints)
Sinestro is the better looking of the two, and I'd suggest the maskless hal, over the regular one. Cooler paint apps, plus Bzzd and a wearable ring.

I so passed on the whole wave , Parallax looked cool but that means you got to hunt the whole wave down just to get it .

They had a couple of the Movie Masters figures at a K-Mart near my school for $4.50, still wasn't worth it to me though.
