The Republic Sub is probably based off a vehicle from the Season 4 Clone Wars premiere, whereas the Republic Recon Fighter seems it may be the cancelled vehicle from last year that was supposed to come with Obi-Wan Kenobi, this time around, hopefully, being released with Anakin Skywalker.

This new series is slated for release in Jan. 2012, no pictures have been revealed as of yet.

its hard to get pumped for any new star wars stuff because 99% of it is either a repack or repaint,the only hope for anything new is in the vintage line it seems.

Saw the new Episode 1 figs at wally this morning.....Fucking Garbage.... only picked up maul with speeder...The funny thing is,it wasn't in the system..And all the Hasbro boxes said do not display until the week of January 30th....Lol. Frickin wally employees.....

Yea,I only mainly get the CW stuff...And the Vintage ones I get are mostly the baddies if they have upgraded the buck...Other then that,I don't get to much SW stuff..

When SW finally gets it's shit together and makes figs with a GI Joe style hip swivel, it'll revive the whole line.

Oneday...sigh.

Yakface.com has a really nice look at the new Phase-II Clone Trooper from the Clone Wars figure line. This figure is nice and sleek and does a nice job paying homage to its cartoon counterpart. Still no ball-jointed ankles, but look at this piece, he's loaded with accessories and looks simply awesome!

I actually hope this does NOT have the new hip-swivel- the temptation to army build these and make each one would be overwhelming- they just scream for custom markings, specialist weapons, etc.
You coud buy a bunch of these and just go wild making all the "brothers" from the CW series!

He looks great only thing i have to say i wished they would of add is the ankle joint . Just like they did to Commander Cody Phase 2 .

The phase II trooper has tons of potential. Kinda plain now, but I am sure we will see plenty of variations on this.

I saw the darth maul sith speeder pack. It looks like a repack of the original phantom menace one that came out when the movie did the first time. Like ten years ago. Not that i'm arguing with it. It was awesome when I was a kid, but the company is lazy

Well, in Canada, a basic Star Wars figure sells for $9.99. That Battle Pack is priced at $29.99, so it's basically $10 per figure in the set, which to me, isn't all that bad. However, to each his own.
