Check out Sandtroopers.com's snapshots of a new Target/Zellers exclusive Battle Pack coming soon to a store-near-you! The Darth Maul Returns 3-piece set includes a new Darth Maul figure, a new Night Sister (apparently, not Mother Talzm) and a re-package of the popular amored Savage Opress figure from earlier this year!
This set should be hitting shelves soon, so keep your eyes open! Damn I want that Mother Talzm figure! Hell, way more than the others! I alwas thought that was the best Sith design from TPM, but they went with Maul instead. |

I'll take one for sure. Still can't find an armored Opress and I'd love a CW Darth Maul.

Check out Yakface.com's next Clone Wars figure update - CW #17 - Clone Commander Wolffe.
This is an awesome figure, that comes complete with a firing rocket launcher and a pair of blaster pistols that fit into functioning holsters. The deco has been applied very well and the overall appearance of the helmet is almost done in a realistic style. Of course though, the figure is lacking some articulation in the ankles and knees, and the deco is more blue than gray as it appeared on screen, but overall, this is one sharp figure army builders and Star Wars fans shouldn't pass up! Enjoy! |

^^ Many of the CW figures of late have had no knee articulation. It has been a real bummer, considering especially that we're living at a point where articulation on action figures has vastily improved since the 5-point system from toylines like Jurassic Park and Power of the Force II. As to why Hasbro is doing this, in this day and age when collectors expect full blown articulation, remains to be seen.

Articulation equals money and if they're targeting a children demogrphic, it might not (to their minds) pay to hav that articulation- look at Batman, Young Justice, Radaki, Spider-Man, SW Battle Packs and Green Lantern movie figs- there is a real and disturbing regressive trend to less articulation.

Hey, Star Wars Fans! Check out Yakface.com's in-depth look at the up-coming Republic Assualt Submarine w/ Scuba Clone Trooper!
This is one fan's have been demanding since the Season 4 opener and although the actual figure features a slightly sloppy deco with some bleeding and overspray, with 13-points-of-articulation and a really nice paint deco on the sub, as well as lots of fun accessories, this is a piece no Clone Wars fan should be without! And come on, who doesn't love the Red Five markings? Enjoy! |

The Darth Maul Returns Battle Pack is now hitting retail in the USA, and Yakface.com has a great review of the 3-piece set!
The set features 2 all new pieces and the hard-to-find armored version of Savage Opress and both the deco and articulation are excellent! The Nightsister is not Mother Talzin though and Opress is missing his lightsaber from the carded release, but all in all, this set shouldn`t be passed on! It`s a Target exclusive, so keep your eyes open! |

I wonder if they'll Make Krell? He'd be one BIG figure.
I'd buy him in a flash though! Maybe repaint his clothes in a nice Sith black...with red lightsabers, of course!

I admire you guys who collect these figures. I was a huge SW collector back in the late 90s when POTF came out. I still have tons of the figures still sealed. But I just am frustrated with how many times they've reissued the same figures with little to no change, basically devalueing my sealed figures. Having said that though, these new figures really do look awesome. I love that darth maul and savage. Even some of the vehicles are pretty good, which I admit being more a fan of than the figures. Damn, this makes me want to bust out all of my POTF vehicles and display. I hope the stickers haven't fallen off.

Yakface.com has a nice, in-depth look at the upcoming online exclusive Wolf Pack Ultimate Gift Set up for your viewing pleasure!
The set is a nice way to add some more clone troopers to our collections and the decos used are more accurate to the way they appear in the series. It just sucks this is going to be an online exclusive instead of a Wal-Mart exclusive, meaning it may cost a few dollars more than if it were available in store. All in all, however, a solid set that is a winner! Enjoy! |
