Once again, I run a similar thread like this over at actionfigurenews.ca, keeping fans up-to-date with the latest Clone Wars offerings from Hasbro.
Today, Star Wars fans, we have news that the Special Ops Clone Trooper we've been seeing shots of over the last few weeks will actually be offered as a TRU exclusive. Right now, TRU.com has the figure up for pre-order at a list pirce of $7.99. There is a limit of 2 per customer and the figure is set for a retail release near the end of August. However, if you just can't wait to get your hands on this awesome Clone Trooper, you can pre-order him here: Star Wars Clone Wars Commander Blackout - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us Thanks to TRU.com for the update! |

i cannot wait for the savage opress figure in full armor to come out. its a shame he doesnt come with the blade axe thing though. it would make a nice change to have a figure like him without a lightsaber for once, but im not too keen on the topless version.
anyone know when the armored vers is out? topless is already out i believe. Cant see a release date on the armored opress???

Our friends over at Yakface.com were kind enough to send us some shots of the up-coming Clone Wars AV-7 Mobile Cannon from their Facebook page today!
This thing is too cool! It features everything from a rotating and elevating barrel, articulated legs, flip down treads (with rolling wheels) launching missiles, and flip out platform with blast shield! Enjoy the attached shots from our friends at Yakface.com and keep your eyes peeled as this awesome piece should be hitting retail soon! |

Thanks to both Sandtroopers.com and Yakface.com, we have a new batch of carded images for the next wave of Clone Wars figures being released. You'll notice that more emphasis is being put on the figures this time around, instead of on the Galactic Battle Game Cards the figures have been coming with for a while now, which I prefer.
Feast your eyes on: Saesee Tiin Stealth Ops Clone Trooper Kit Fisto Seripas Captain Rex ARF Trooper (Kamino) Plo Koon (Cold Weather Gear) Savage Oppress |

While they have yet to show up in Canada, the latest wave of Clone Wars figures is starting to show up stateside. Our friends over at Yakface.com were kind enough to share some shots of the first figure in the wave - Jar Jar Binks, who is essentially a straight up repack of the version released in series 5 back in 2009.
Enjoy! And thanks to Yakface.com for passing these our way! |

Our ever loyal friends over at Yakface.com have kindly passed on shots of the next entry into the latest wave of Clone Wars action figures - R7-D4. Plo Koon's Astromech droid from the show, this figure is essentially a straight-up repaint of every other Clone Wars Astromech droid we've gotten since the beginning and, in my opinion, is only good to fill a space in Plo Koon's starfighter.
Enjoy the attached shots thanks to Yakface.com! |

It'll be great to have an astromech for Plo Koon's starfighter now. All we need is Kit Fisto's droid, and we have an astromech for each Jedi Starfighter released in the CW line thus far.

Saw a few at Fan Expo 2011 in Toronto this weekend, but they were going for $30 a shot at the dealers I was dealing with. I'll just wait till he hits retail.

I'm not an animated fan, but Even Piell, Saesee Tiin, and Savage Opress actually look good enough to maybe fit in with my movie collection.
