So, as can be seen by the front page, Mattel has unveiled DCU Wave 3 (with the exception of the Joker). What does everyone think so far?
Superman will be a pass for me, but Aquaman and Darkseid are two figures I was excited about when the line was announced late last week. So, I am looking forward to those two, Joker still remains to be seen. I am however, surprised Aquaman didn't come with the necklace he wears in Justice Leage: Origins, but not a BIG deal... |

I kind of like Supes, but Darkseid's head looks out of proportion and I don't really care for the gaps in Aquaman's torso area (especially at the ab crunch and bicep). But maybe it's just at a weird angle and will look better in other photos.

Darksied is a MOTUC fig which is cool but his parts look like they were designed to be on a much larger fig. How is Darkseid going to compare to the Dark Knight Batman DC is making with MOTUC parts? I'd love to see these or anyhting 6 inch DC at retail.

Of all the things to talk about for Ralph's bio, they had to mention his wife's murder? SMH.
The figure looks good, though.

BTW, is anyone else laughing that Mattel is once again releasing a figure that is gone from the comics? This is why they should have given him to us 2-3 years ago, when he was relevant. Instead, he is now like the Lantern repaints all over again.

Well yeah, 'cause we all know that releasing a fan favorite character who routinely leads on "Who do you want us to make" polls... that's a real laughable thing to do.
Real shit move mattel. Real shit move giving us a dude we've been begging for, for years. Don't you ever have anything to say that isn't nerdragey or bitchy? About anything? No? Baby Sloths? Come on, Everyone loves baby sloths. You criticize that they only make nothing but the A list characters. Just endless Superman and Batman. And when they *do* put out a C, or D list character, even one that's coveted like this, or Captain Marvel Jr, or Larfleeze, you rage over how laughable they are for putting out a character you deem irrelevent because they're not appearing in a comic. -Ignore listed-

How come were getting another one of him though? There was already a BB released in DCUC. Is he going to be in the signature series or the unlimited one?

--he's fairly popular --the one from wave 4 proved pretty hard to find --because it would be easy for them to make this version of the figure -- just adding wings and a flat black paint job this time He'll be in Batman Unlimited I believe. Def not Club Infinite Earths.

I figure that's what it's there for. . .it just kinda died of when the line died off. Not as many figures being produced, so nothing new really to say. It all got covered in its own thread after Toy Fair.

I really wish they would have used some of Plastic Man's parts for him. One stretched out arm really doesn't seem enough for him.

I might still head swap this Ralph with TDK Movie Master Harvey Dent. I'm not crazy about the grin on the head sculpt they selected. |

You can't hot link pics hosted by some other website's servers. You can mirror pics, or save them to a photobucket or imgur account and then use links sourced from these types of file hosting services, but hot-linking directly from other sites is not allowed here, or anywhere for that matter.

you know I blame everyone who did not sign up but bought the figure. Had you signed up for the club more Elongated Man Parts granted they might have been repainted Plasticman stuff but because they didn't get the 2014 numbers then no extra stuff

Got it today, sorry the picture is crappy. One arm is thinner than the other, and Not a lot of Paint Detail. The hands are good though and can switch them. Wish there were more accesories. B- at Best
