i think they're little egg thingies that you drop in water, and desolves away to reveal a mystery figurine.

Inside the each of the 2 egg shaped objects on the blister cards there's a 1" non - poseable figure. You have to drop them in warm water and wait for the egg mold to dissolve to get figure loose. One of the rare instances where I actually opened a toy I decided to go ahead and have fun. I got Green Arrow, The Joker, Robin, and Batman.

DCUC.info's Captain Collector has posted a rather interesting and insightful review of the soon-to-be-released DCUC Wave 16, including some beautiful pictures, over at The Action Figure Hub....

Check out what our friends at Mattel have planned for their up-coming Young Justice figure lines, and you'll all be happy to know a 6" line sculpted by The Four Horsemen is in our future that will look great displayed alongside our DCUC pieces and that there will be a C&C Hall of Justice which is said to just be simply amazing!

They look good. It sucks that wave # 18 is another Wal - Mart wave since Matty promised 2 years ago after wave # 10 there would be no more Wal - Mart exclusives.

No problem at all sorry again for asking you not to post anything earlier about them but more secrets will be revealed before SDCC, I'm sure. I just talked to someone who was at Toy Fair today who said no one confirmed wave # 18 as a Wal - Mart excl. Where are you getting that from? You can PM if you don't want to publicly post.

A source of mine made the claim. As have a few members of Matty Collector's Facebook page, they claim it was announced today Wave 18 is a Wal-Mart exclusive line. Just reporting what I've heard.

Double check that so far only the CS 5 pack is a confirmed Wal - Mart excl.

[QUOTE=Prowl 2009;94941]Ladies and Gentlemen: Big News from Toy Fair 2011:
-DCUC Wave 18 is indeed a Wal - Mart line/QUOTE] I just heard from a VERY reliable source that wave # 18 will be a Wal - Mart exclusive at First then have a wider release within 2 months after that initial release. Just as it was with wave # 15 and K Mart. |

Despite what was claimed yesterday, Toy Guru has reported that, not only is DCUC Wave 18 not a Wal-Mart exclusive wave, but, starting in 2011, there will be no more retailer exclusive DCUC waves:
Another BIG SCOOP comes our way today. Despite what was announced yesterday, DCUC Wave 18 will not be a retail exclusive and, starting in 2011, there will be no more DCUC retailer exclusives!!! No more waves only available at Wal-Mart or TRU again! According to Toy Guru, of the 4 Horsemen: There won’t be any more retailer exclusive waves in 2011! What we will see are retailers getting the waves for an exclusive window (usually a month) much like K-mart got with wave 13 last year. Wave 18 will have a exclusive time at Walmart, but the wave won’t be exclusive to the chain. Target should also be getting an exclusive window for an upcoming wave of DCUC. Again, this is something that was not covered at Toy Fair, but how much more reliable can you get then this? |
