Against my original doubts I picked up a couple of the Deluxe figures because of the Impulse Projection gimmick... and they're actually pretty cool.

I have to admit, I was a little tempted to buy on of these figures just for the technology used in them. They are pretty damn cool looking. Still not completely sold on the deluxe figures, but they are undeniably cool figures.

Part of me says they could be improved, but I don't know how much was done to get them how they are now.
Articulation is of course hindered from the armor and electronics, but the painting for the stripes should have been the same color as the chest. The voice clips could have been a lot more consistent in volume as well. |
