Does anyone know when the series that has Crossbones was released? I saw some in that series @ one local Wal-Mart but never saw any of those figures @ any other Wal-Mart & I have 4 in this area. I also never saw a Crossbones in the store & was just wondering if any of you had the same "luck" I did?
Thanks! |

crossbones came out in the ML Ares Wave, that came out around christmas time (NOV I think). Apparently though, the wave has started to make an appearance at TJ Maxx, Ross, stores of this nature, etc
try looking there |

I only saw this wave once at retail. The local Wal-Mart had a huge shipment that consisted of about 4-5 of each figure. I bought one of each. I wish I bought two Crossbones because he is easily the best of the wave. This was around December/January.

OK thanks for the info guys! Yeah that Crossbones is nice & I never saw one in Wal-Mart.

yeah Tj Maxx and Ross is great.
I once found DCSH Supergirl (Blue Costume) and a Steel figure there. It really depends how lucky you are. Apparently people were also finding ML Blob series figures there as well! |

Aside from the usually overpriced toys, I have absolutely no interest in wearing "trendy" clothes. If my style is in style at the moment, then so be it. But I'm not going to make an effort to follow the current trends. I'm too old for that nonsense (not that I really cared when I was younger, either).

Thanks for this info! I've been to Kohls & seen toys but they're like baby toys, for like 3 & under.
Update: I stopped by Ross & they do have toys - who knew? There wasn't much there but I never expected them to have any. Thanks again, I thought since I was a newbie here these places were a joke on me. Last edited by BlackRazor; 05-13-2009 at 10:26 AM.. |

Most of the time, the Kohl's in my area doesn't have squat. But on rare occasions they'll get things in before the local Wal-Mart or Target does (like the Activators Grimlock/Megatron and Universe Galvatron/Acid Storm waves).
I can say that I've never seen any TF store exclusives at Kohl's before, either theirs originally or buy-outs from other chains. Oh, and because I forgot to mention it in my earlier post, welcome to the Toyark, BlackRazor!

Saw this wave last fall and winter. Vindicator, Vision, and Crossbones were all hard to find.

i think i actually only saw them at my walmart for once, we got 3 cases i think, seemed like crossbones was the only one dissapearing fast, this was the last decent wave i think, not exactly the best either.... the nemesis wave is pretty much nonexistant, i dont understand what Hasbro is doing to Marvel, did they use ALL their plastic up on TFs and GI Joes?
