Kind of excited and kind of not. I enjoy that the show is different from the comics for sure. I mean in the idea of adding Darryl to the line up. Anyhow, last episode of season 1 just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Really didn't care to know the why and how.

Being different then the comic has been a huge plus for me. With the comic having so many issues and me being a huge comic fan it makes things more spoiler free.

I haven't got into the show myself yet, heard good things, just haven't made the time, will watch it eventually, Love the toys, they look awesome. And nice to see a comic line that is seperate from the show, that way fanboys are pissed when comic accuracy isn't portrayed and it gives fans something else to enjoy between episodes and seasons.

I'm so looking forward to season 2. Big time. I know exactly where I'll be every Sunday night for the next few months; with my ass parked directly in front of my television. I was completely hooked during season 1 and I expect nothing different for season 2. And I have to agree with you about the show being just different enough to allow for some nice surprises. I'm just a little concerned with all the behind-the-scenes drama that happened during production that ended with Frank Darabont leaving (being let go from) the show. I really hope it doesn't affect the outcome. |

I'm looking forward to it. Apparently there are 6 webisodes that shed some light onto events that took place prior to the first episode. I haven't seen them. My brother said it explains how that woman zombie that was missing her lower half, got that way. She's seen in the first episode.

I just can't wait to see what happens whrn he runs in to his brother again. I think Merle Dixon will create a HUGE chasm between the comics and the show :/

I just hope it doesn't come down to them trying to find a cure and such. |

Also I won't be surprised if at some point the search for a "cure" but surviving will be there main concern may be a bit too busy to constantly be looking for cures. The TV series seems to have far more hope then the comics. Helicopter, Vatos, CDC. All things that imply there is hope. |

I am stoked, but certain events need to happen in season 2 for it to be a hit, for me.

Agreed, agreed, agreed. That is well stated sir. I mean big ones that took place should happen to give it a good shock factor. Just handle it differently and BAM I'll be back on the bandwagon.

I don't mind directors adding more to the stories, but they damn well better not change it to damn much. As I said _____ has to die, even if its at the end of season 2, that be awsome!

Oh you meant that? Oh yeah they have to die. I was thinking about a certain characters personal loss. I don't think it will be lost in the show.

That conforts me, then worries me. Maybe he wanted it to be more like the comics? Or maybe he didn't. Rather scary.
