I'm having some issues with Walmarts in my area. It was posed earlier in the year that walmart isn't carrying as much MU as of late. Whether or not that is true I can't say, but in my area it is definitely happening.
As a consequence I cannot find the GB sets ANYWHERE. I've check 3 local walmarts and its not happening. Anyone else running into this? If this is just my area, I would like to open up the floor for a possible exchange. My area is filthy rich in DCUC. Hardly anyone seems to pick it up and I have some interesting stuff that I could find. |

Weird- down my way, DCU is no where- what was around in Target was clearanced out in the first wave....and target still stocks the other DC figures- the animated style figures and the Brave and The Bold line.
I dont live near any wal Marts or I'd go looking on your behalf....I'm sure someone here will hook you up: I got my (awesome) Loki in a trade right here. Maybe buy a couple of the two packs for trading barter? If not then it's Amazon or (shudder) Evilbay for you. |

I was able to find the GB sets but it was at a Walmart that was 30+ miles out of my way. Now I may be headed back that way in a week or two and will be more than happy to look and pick them up for you. Just let me know.

I'm having the same problems around my area as well. Been looking for these sets for awhile now and having no luck. I've seen the price tag, but then like a week or so later they took it off.
So if anybody can hook a brother up with the GB set (1 of each) I'll be more than happy to pay you back for it plus extra for gas and such. Please PM!! |

Apparently, The Gigantic Battles Walmart exclusive sets are done. These were a 1 shot release a few weeks ago. Not all Walmarts are getting them. Only higher volume selling stores are getting them. The Giant Frost Giant is the better of the 2. People picked these up for army building due to coolness. Tags from shelves here in So Cal have been taken off. Talked to dept toy managers and these are showing up dis continued in the system.

I live in a radius of 4 walmarts(Lucky me). 5 if I take the time to get to that one. out of those, I can say 1 of the walmarts has phased out MU(Its a crappy WM anyway, I mean, they close at midnight due to crime) but I have seen evidence of 2 of the walmarts with these gb figures, one of which I was able to pick up both frost giant and ben foster. the one I saw that actually had them only had 1 frost giant and 3 ben fosters before I got my set. hopefully hasbro will release another set for you all.

Also has anyone searched the walmart website for the GB's. I remember when I was searching for the 6in Mark V armor, that's where I found it. It was a one shot deal though, because they went out of stock shortly after I ordered and never came back in. Now of course you can find that one in any Walmart now.

hello! is GB stands for Gigantic Battle? like the Frost Giants with Loki? and Bill foster and Thor? We have some stocks here in our local Walmart, i live here in Raleigh, NC. last saturday, i did still saw some NEw GB the frost giants maybe 2-3 i think, and 1 bill foster.. i didnt see any new waves from the MU's but they do have some re-stocks, like the Moon night, some kitty pryde. and the comic packs they have bunch of Captain america and wolverine, thor and iron man, but they dont have the Newest wave from the comic packs and the new wave for the single card file..

I haven't seen any of my WM restock on those.
I got my 2 sets already. DCUC is extremely easy to find here. Any 6 inch figures are easy to find. |

I wish the GB sets were regular sets. I mean, look at Hasbro's starwars line.
you have Clone Wars, Vintage, Vehicles both large and small, those little galactic heroes figures, big accessories, and boxed sets marvel universe has MU, Comic Packs, Super Hero Squad, and Boxed Sets.......and the masterpiece figure, a spiderman toy line, and movie toy lines, which have those big accessories and ocationally vehicles. crap, seems on par if you lump all those together. but still, I would love it if Gigantic Battles wasnt a store exclusive. even if its still 1 single wave a year. like, I want 3 gigantic battles figures a year, but I want them for every store. I mean, its not like there are a ton of gigantic characters in Marvel. outside of whats made already, theres just Atlas, Stature, Giant Ultron, Surture, Hawkeye as Goliath, Yellowjacket, Modern Giant Man and Ymir! half of those are just repaints of the Foster/Giantman mold. Ymir is just a frost giant with a new head. Stature is a repaint and a new head for the icons Phoenix. make it happen Hasbro. thats 3 waves of Giant Figures. 1 for each of the next 3 years. |

Those GB sets are done already? I thought they screamed "$15 clearance in a few months." Not that it matters because I haven't seen them in my area, but I would've liked the Loki set. If anyone wants to pick one up and trade it to me for some things in my buy/sell/trade thread,.. good Karma for you.

Just a little note for anybody in Dayton Ohio. Just 2 hours ago I went to the Bellbrook Walmart off of Woodman. they had 2 of each. They now have 2 goliaths and 1 Frost Giant cause I got my second Giant(Sorry. lol. if you want a loki hit me up though).
so get to it now before its too late. I would have picked them up for a toyarker but I havent been paid yet and I just paid a bill |

As far as MU, I've had my most luck at Target as of late. Wal-Mart is almost always a bust, but they are great for DCU (which I casually collect).
I'm a pretty hardcore MU collector, and in my area I have yet to see the new comic packs with Deadpool/Taskmaster and Wolvie/Silver Samurai anywhere. but I did snag some Wave 13 single-packed figures! |

2 of my 3 WalMarts aren't carrying ANY MU. Just Iron Man 2 and Thor. Not even Spider-Man. The 3rd just got a refresher wave (Which made me happy, I finally got Kitty Pryde out of it.) So I'm guessing they'll keep stocking at that one...

I stopped at a Walmart tonight that I rarely hit and they had zero MU's as well. Same thing with K-Mart. Although, it's always hard to tell if what's going on in any K-Mart is intentional or not. That place is like the Lost island of retail.

see all your comment above, just to think each walmart only have 3 or 4 pcs in their store, and thats random, i mean can 1 Frost giant, can be 2 or 3 and same way with bill foster goliath...so its mean, they dont want have many stock until further notice. for me if someone says EXCLUSIVE STUFF from one place, that place should have a lot of stock, minimum usually they must have 10pcs of them each place. very sad, someone can found them a lot in one place but someone cant find anything.
