We got to check this out in person when we hit NECA's studio last year. It was pretty nice looking in person. They hadn't finalized the long hair head sculpt then, just the curly short hair version.

I agree. This guy has been a constant companion my whole life and i have religiously listened to and bought his albums. I lve his songs from mandatory fun, inactive and tacky.

I would like the entire cast of UHF, including all Al parodies. In a Box Set with Remastered Blu Ray and Soundtrack. Thanks.
Edit - with working Wheel of Fish and Fire Hose. Thanks. |

Haha, yes. Actually, I would just prefer a Spatula City playset. I literally actually would.

This is definitely a situation where I never knew I wanted a Weird Al action figure, but now that I've seen one, I have to have it. Might even buy a second to keep in-package to then have him sign.

And Conan the Librarian which wouldn't be too hard for NECA since they did make a line of Conan the Barbarian figures.

I also want an SDCC exclusive Stanley Spadowski with action mop. The mop will be special for SDCC. It will light up to celebrate the reunion moment and make lightsaber sound effects. Stanly will have an action feature so he can swing the mop and knock people into boxes. He'll also have a bonus stapler accessory to complete the weapon assortment.

I wonder if this means that we could also get versions of Weird Al from his music videos the way we got all those editions of Eddie? "Fat", "Eat it", "Like a Surgeon" and my personal favorite, "Omish Paradise"?
I'd love a "Trapped in the Drive Thru" as well, even though he wasn't in a music video for it. Definitely one of his most epic songs... |

I know it's not Weird Al relevant but since you brought him up I want to go into this: why don't we get any more regular figures of Eddie? I think the last one they did was the debut album and that was like three or more years ago. I don't dislike the Mego ones but I have no interest in buying them either since they don't really match the art the way the normal sculpted figures do.

WTF?
I absolutely LOVE Al! He is Supreme! I cannot stress how much of an influence he has has on my life, especially in my middle school years (In 3D. ) And even though I am not a fan of the scale they picked to portray him in but I would totally buy this just to have him in my collection! Viva Le Volcano Worshipers!

I think because Mego figures are so much cheaper to tool than regular 7" figures they are going to be their go to choice for a license that presents more risk. Like Bill and Ted, the support probably isn't entirely there to justify the risk of sculpting all new 7" figures but with Mego style all they have to do is make some new heads and the clothing/accessories so if they don't sell in great volume then there is no severe loss.

My girlfriend LOVES Weird Al. I'm totally buying her this.
Yeah, but those things were straight-up statues. Not much you could do with them today. |
