It's definitely not everything that's out there (that would be a massive guide). But I hope it points you to something you didn't realize you could stream, or something you maybe haven't seen yet.

Thanks for the guide. Definitely lotsa goodies and gems out there. Thank the gods for video games and books (and a lil bit of freeform jazz and scotch, of course. )

Thanks for putting this together! I had no idea Toxic Crusaders was streaming anywhere and look forward to some of those docs! Had no idea Virtua Fighter was either, never saw that!

Thanks for posting this, it's a great list, and a thoughtful way to keep our minds occupied during the madness. Also, I would suggest there are a metric ton of collections, either books, graphic novels, and audiobooks that can be found through your libraries online, or via various services.

I’m glad people are enjoying the list. I know it’s not the type of thing I normally post. Maybe in a week, I’ll do one of just movies. There’s a lot of buried cult and pop culture classics out there, especially “toy” themed ones. I had started adding them here, but the list was already pretty full.

Awesome list Joe! Only thing is that some of it is unfortunately not available for us here in Canada (like the X-men series ).

Really cool of you guys to do this. We're all pretty bummed that life has ground to a halt during this coronavirus bullshit, so it's nice for you to do the homework and present us with some entertainment options to keep us occupied until the apocalypse blows over.

Nice list, gonna try to watch the Savini documentary today.
I'd like to add: -The Image Comics documentary is on Amazon prime -Video Game the movie on amazon prime I think and maybe still on Netflix -There was a David Prowse documentary on Netflix...not sure if it's still there -The Movies that made us..made by the same production team as the toys that made us but for movies like Ghostbusters, diehard, etc -Hollywood treasures kinda like toy Hunter with people going around looking for movie props for an auction house. I think this is on Amazon prime -Also I'm currently in the middle of a documentary about the Gerry Anderson shows on Amazon prime. If creepy puppets are your thing. |

It's not streaming on any of the services, but if you can find it, track down History Channel's Game Changers: Inside the Video Game Wars. That was really comprehensive, and a lot of behind the scenes and interviews with a ton of game industry vets.

All good picks. I eventually dropped off the Walking Dead shows, but I know a few friends who still dig them.

I've been going through Star Trek 2-6 on Amazon Prime. Don't know why Search for Spock gets a bad rap, it's actually pretty good.

Screw all of those. If you're going to stream, there's only one show to watch:
