Great thread idea. Mine is a combo of my two favorite Marvel characters, Scott Summers and Matt Murdock. I miss my hisstank handle "barbequedeels", again a combo of my two favorite ARAH toys from childhood, Barbeque and Eels.

Nice topic! Mine is a combination of the sword Excalibur and an unknown bullet caliber (X). I'm really into FPS since Rouge Spear if anyone remembers that one. 037 is Leo upside down. Leonardo is my middle name.

Speedbreaker is from Japan's Transformers: Car Robots. I just though he was a cool, fun character.

I got this name from an ex-girlfriend who used to refer to us in third person around 13 years ago. I used it as my e-mail and screen name ever since. There's actually another humourous reason I use it, but I won't get into it.

Mine is old. Dates back to 2000. Doesn't seem like it, but it's Beast Machines Jetstorm.
There used to be on AOL, a chatroom called Beast Wars RPG. Crazy Jetty was the last name I ever used there. The premise behind it, was after the maximals finally defeated Megatron and reclaimed Cybertron (Pre-second season), Jetstorm was out of a job. However, there were all these emtpy vehicon drones laying around, and millions of bodiless sparks. So, Jetstorm opened "Crazy Jetty's Casa o' Used Vehicons!" And that's the screen name I've stayed with ever since.

Well, mine's fails in comparison to you other guys in terms of creativity. All you'd have to do is Google my screen name and you'll basically have all you need. *Just do it anyways!*
I started getting into the habit of pairing machines, robots, mecha, etc. names with their respective model numbers (again, 0 for creativity). I began using "BarricadeS281E". This of course would be the movie-verse Transformer. His alt mode struck me even before I knew anything about the first film. I don't know crap about cars and all that jazz (other than the inside workings) neither do I care, I use a car to get to places - that's it. So it was odd for me to "like" a car model. So when I found out who Barricade was in the film, I got excited and he immediately became one my faves, 2nd to Blackout that is. The prospect of Keith David voicing him was more icing on the cake - unfortunately that didn't happen... Anyway, same format with my current screen name. It's the designation for my all-time favorite mecha (who actually has a bad-ass female pilot to boot). You can also see my model kit of it as my avatar. This was actually the second model kit I've ever built in my life and it's sorta like my pride & joy. Uh, and sorry for the paragraph |

I am part of a Kennel that shows American Bullys. I name all of my dogs after comic book villains and my first in-house production is named Vandal Savage.

Dogs with awesome names.... why not name a dog something awesome? I hate when people name their pets human names, that drives me insane. My dog is named Diablo by the way, after the computer game that I wasted years of my life playing.

I came up with mine along time ago I use to collect Zippos and would have them engraved with "This Vampire Heart" symbolizing that the heart is just like the vampire myth in that the vampire craves blood to feed, the heart needs love to live. Kinda lame and biologically inaccurate but whatever its grown on me. A few years later I hear of this band called H.I.M. (im into all sorts of music and have collected cds for years now) but HIM comes out with a song entitled "Vampire Heart" Hot Topic made them popular then Twilight comes out and makes vampires popular and now everyone who sees my name thinks im either a Twilight fan or HIM fan which i am to a certain extent but grrrrr I refuse to change my handle lol
Someof the zippos I kept Last edited by vampireheart; 09-26-2011 at 01:46 PM.. |

As long as it's SFW, on-topic and not done just to promote the vid, then it's fine.
My username comes from a combination of a few things: I love the idea using sound as a weapon and I'm a huge fan of Soundwave. I took that and combined it with a variation in spelling of what I do in real life. Over the years, I've also built a whole fan character and backstory around the name.
