This can be a very broad question as there are a lot of topics, sites and so forth that would have a section for video reviews. So in another way to get to see what our other interests are, or just who you like watching in the hobby we discuss now, I though this would be a good way to show that and expose others to what we may not know about. In other words, this just isn't limited to toys.

I agree I subscribed to most of the main guys. I personally can't stand Seanlong anymore his voice grates on my nerves and 85% of his current videos aren't even reviews just company/product shoutouts. Sentry productions is ok but lil immature in my eyes. Solidsnake I think it is, is awesome, the boss of ML collecting, I would kill for his toy room. Epic. I like Shartimuse's comedic aspectic and accurate reviews.

For humor and entertainment, it's a tie between Vangelus and TJ Omega. For straight-up info on new stuff and some of the more high-end collectibles, I'll go with Peaugh.
As for non-toy reviewers, ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com is my usual haunt.

Internet Personality Vangelus is pretty damn funny and I hope he does a Rider Figuarts Week part 2 soon. And if you mention TGWTG, you can't forget the Angry Video Game Nerd. |

Some great reviews mentioned so far, Ashrok1982 has been posting some really good reviews lately.

TGWTG is also a favorite site of mine (I'm sure some of you already now that though) so for me, Phelous, Cinema Snob, NC, Lupa (funny and hot, Treble likes the reds too), ThatSciFiGuy and I just started watching the Blockbuster Buster. |

I'm gonna agree with you also. Vangelus is great, Peaugh for early looks. For transformation I have to go with Optibotimus or EmGo. Thew is epic, if you haven't seen him, check him out now. For all other oddities, The Review Spot, very in depth and wide range of figure reviews.

From TGWTG, I also like Vangelus (yes, he's there too!), NC, Linkara, Angry Joe, Spoony, NChick, Todd in the Shadows and MarzGurl.

I usually do a quick search and go with whoever I find first, but I caught one or two of that guy Vangelus and it was pretty entertaining with the little side stuff he adds in.
Some chick should think about doing reviews topless. That shit would generate a ton of traffic.

I too would have to say Vangelus and Peaugh are my two favourite reviewers... Peaugh has some great early looks at items, and especially for the Transformer fan in me, he goes through the transformations in great detail.
Vangelus has quite a varied collection of reviews, and he's actually peaked my interest in lines like SHF and Damaishi. And I can't fault the editing of his videos and his sense of humour, they really add to the video without taking attention away from the toy.

I've caught one or two of Thew's reviews and really liked them, but I keep forgetting to add him to my sub list and never seem to find his channel when I go looking for it.
I'm a big, big fan of Lupa too From TGWTG, I also like Vangelus (yes, he's there too!), NC, Linkara, Angry Joe, Spoony, NChick, Todd in the Shadows and MarzGurl. Yea man, Lupa is sexy as hell. I would have mentioned Spoony too, I love his videos but, he doesn't put them up very often. My recent fav was the DOA movie review. Have you seen the x-overs he did with Linkara on the Warrior comics? Effin. Hilarious. Speaking of which, new video- http://blip.tv/nostalgiacritic/warrior-4-review-5648001 Quote:

And the Warrior series is probably one of my favorites, especially since it showcases how batshit insane Jim Hellwig is. Quote:

Internet personality Vangelus. His reviews tend to be spot on and are funny and tends to draw just the right comparisons with other toys to help you understand scale.

No problem bud, sorry about the late reply.

Spoony posts a lot more on his site www.spoonyexperiment.com first. Only about half of his videos show up on TGWTG.com, so sometimes I'll check his site first. He also does straight-up first-impression movie reviews, which Doug Walker is just starting to do now as well. It's kind of nice to get a serious take from them. Helps keep things fresh.

The only video reviews I've ever seen are the ones on Wrestlingfigs.com.

TheReviewSpot, very thorough and I actually like him talking about the packaging all the time. It's good to know if you're a MOC collector Ashrok: I love how he breaks it down to paint and all that. Really shows where the figure does and doesn't shine. fxfranz: Just an overall good reviewer, he helps a lot when it comes to transforming certain transformers too (PAYLOAD DAMN YOU) and he ALWAYS has his figures in such cool poses. I think Shartimus Prime is okay, SentryProductions just comes across as an ass, Sean Long would be fine if he didn't do those stupid skits, TheReviewRevolution is good, he just rambles and laughs a lot though, GlassCabinet is solid but I just think the first 3 are better (he's easily number 4), same goes for JTMitchel (5), JTrain997 to me only likes figures if he likes the character, Aetherus69 is decent but I hate the whole 'Casual Peak' thing, I just don't like Garhoch, and Optibotimus doesn't a review a whole load of things besides Transformers. I'm sure I missed a few reviewers but whatever, I also apologize if I offended any reviewers who happen to be on the forums. Last edited by M3T4L V1KING; 10-22-2011 at 01:42 AM.. |
