So why did you start buying / collecting Legos?
I started becasue I remembered how much fun they were as a kid and how we could never affoord to get any sets other than the small basic sets. Now my daughter who is 4 and I build and collect together. She loves the city sets. and has many adventures with her police and fire fighters. She is now getting coast guards. She is getting the hospital and coast guard platform from me for xmas. Myself..... My first love is the Castles sets and can't wait to start opening my castle advent calander tomorrow. I also have most of the exo-force sets and really like the lego racers sets. |

My parents got me legos when I was really little, and I've been hooked since. I've been building my own ideas for too long, and I can still remember making character appropriate "decals" for my Star Wars legos before I even knew they were making official sets.
My favorite line is Castle, and always has been. I have a huge skeleton army sitting on a table in my room, and there are a lot of crown knights as well. In some drawers I have other factions.. I'm too obsessive compulsive to mix old with new right now. I've been working on other things. Pretty much everything I've ever been into I've translated into legos one way or another, and currently I'm working on Metal Gear Solid 3 "sets". |

My collection of LEGO began when I was intrigued with Bionicles maybe five years back, I saw one for like a dollar at a Wal-Mart and bought it just for fun or randomness, I don't think I have a reason. I began collecting those Bionicles, and eventually became interested with other LEGO lines, especially City.
My LEGO City collection is growing slowly, I think the primary set for City I have is the Truck and Forklift set from this year. I find it very difficult sometimes because they take up so much room, moreso than Transformers which are so easily to store and pose. But I am prepared for 2009!

Loved them as a kid, sold what I had off and as I got back into toy collecting the Star Wars Lego sucked me back in. Now I have SW, Exo-Force, Castle, and some Indy. As a kid I would build all sorts of crap but now the collector mentality has taken over and I can't build an original model for the life of me. partly because my imagination for this stuff isn't what it used to be and because I hate kit bashing complete sets.

LEGO bricks were my favorite toys as a child. They were the only toys I didn't sell when I got older. I still have every set I ever got.
