I was at my local Walmart today and saw the same old Thor stuff same peg warmers no new waves, same semi shitty 8'' and 12'' figures of Thor, then I found a small section of Cap figures tucked away near the bike section, and the 12'' cap figure sucks.. the likeness is ok I guess, no articulation, 1 decent gun and 1 retarded launching gun, and for $30 it can sit there. Anybody seen this 12'' cap or better yet anybody buy it? good/bad comments wanted. I hated the 12'' Iron man figures that came out for the movie due to lack of articulation but I bought 1 due to likeness alone... I'm tempted to buy the 12'' war machine for $25 for the same reason. These are a far less superior then the Marvel Icons figures of the same scale... we need this line back.

I don't like any of them. Articulation is on par with the 90's figures but it's 2011 now. They never seem to sell well either. Hell, sometimes the smaller ones don't either.

Personally, I was hoping for an 8 or 12 inch comic version Cap- so I could make him into the Super Adaptoid!
Huh. Maybe I'll use one of those upcoming 6" movie Cap figs instead... The big figs just..suck on articulation. I really wanted a big Iron Man but onlt if it had 3.75" articulation! Really, if they just left out those absurd weapons, the cost of decent articulation would be far less. Still...better than the big Gren Lantern stuff, I suppose. |

It's kinda like they are purposefully mass producing the crap product and hiding the diamond in the ruff.
