I really dig the Elite style figures, great articulation... and the details are pretty damn good. I typically pick them up for my son, but lately they have doubled for Nerf gun targets.
Toys are for playing with...

I don't collect wrestling but am trying to figure out which wrestling figures I need to get so that I can swap parts and make some suited and "civilian clothes" drug bosses and henchmen for my ML and DCUC displays. I already have some ideas as to which figures I need to get (some suited ones plus Steve Austin for jeans/t-shirt and a ton of different heads) but could use more, so I would be interested in discussing this subject with anyone who would care to. Note: I am only looking for super-articulated figures. Also, I came across a figure I believe is somewhat htf and would be interested in trading it for another htf figure that I can use, or possibly more than one common figure. It's the Sabu from this pack: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/image...e/JAK11529.jpg Once I trade him I will need a head from a more common version of him instead. I also have what I believe is the Bobby Lashley from that pack, but he's damaged. My first priority as far as my customs is to put this head on a suited body for a white crime boss: http://www.ringsidecollectibles.com/...einer_side.jpg I also would like to find at least one suited body that could look good with either a tanned head (latino crime boss) or a dark brown skinned head (AA crime boss). I have unlimited free LD calling so talking on the phone is a possibility as well. I would also be interested to know what forum I could post this message on to get the best chance of a trade, if not this one. Last edited by squeezeplay; 06-14-2015 at 12:32 PM.. |

For thugs and mob muscle, I recommend using a lot of the members of the Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins) as they all wore urban military clothing and tank tops, and many of them came with flak jacket accessories. These are all fairly popular wrestlers at the moment, and are fairly easy to find in the wild. For heads, while a bit more pricey, I recommend Eddie Guerrero (especially the Target exclusive elite) and Alberto Del Rio for Latino thugs and bosses, Cesaro and Dean Ambrose for for Caucasian thugs, Stone Cold, Ryback and Triple H for biker gang types, and Jinder Mahal for middle eastern types. Many of these figures heads can be found on basic wwe figures that are fairly inexpensive and are easy to find. Not sure that helps at all..hopefully it gives you some ideas. WWE figures are great in that they are fairly easy to customize and swap using the old boil and pop method. Good luck! |

No that is a huge help, thanks! I'll now have a few more names to search on google images and at least a couple to add to the list, which is now huge. Each person who responds gives me great info to add to my databank of knowledge.
