| I know every damn director has to have their "new take" on everything, but why the hell does Deadpool have to deviate at all from his typical image? I mean really, this is almost offensive to me. |

| Great for customs, but that just isn't "Deadpool". Are all the Weapon X projects going to have sharp weapons from their arms/hands? |

| My hope is this is just a mid-point look after he gets the W-X treatment, but before he suits up in his classic costume (or a movie-style variant).
However, I wouldn't be surprised if this is his "final" costumed look, considering how Bullseye looked in Daredevil.

| I seriously hope he is going to have a full costume. Deadpool without a mask is worse than Bullseye without a mask imo. And I hope the sword/spike things are held on his arms by the wraps and not coming out of his arms. I know that some things always get changed for the movies but Deadpool with Baraka-style swords is too much. |

| Because I'm a big meat-head, I put this in the SHS thread:
I rather like the design, but because the design looks absolutely nothing like Deadpool and so it'll be easy to 'blank slate' him into a character of my own choosing. He looks like a penitent warrior monk or something. |

| Gah. He doesn't look that good. I really hope he gets a costume of sorts. I'll still get him and regular Deadpool for alternate universe fights between the two. |

| They need to pull their heads out of their asses. They should know by now that the fans want Deadpool to look like he does!
Deadpool is a FAN favorite, not a cultural wonder like Superman or Spider-Man. He deserves to look more like he does in the the comics because that's what the FANS like, not what some idiot director thinks is "ccol". I'm with all of you hoping that this is a mid-point, but I've been really excited and open-minded about Wolverine because Deadpool is in it and I love Ryan Reynolds.
If this is what they have planned for him then I'll probably lose hope for the entire movie.

| Dude, it's a comic movie from Fox. All the flicks they've done have essentially sucked. Aside from lucking into Singer doing the first two Xflicks, they haven't learned the lesson to get directors that love the property do the movies. This movie's had 'suck' written on it a loooooooong time now.
But since we're getting two sweet DP figs already, I don't see what the fuss is all about. |

You're so right. Stupidly, the reason I was so excited for this movie was the prospect of getting a cool looking Deadpool action figure that didn't cost $70+... And now that one is coming out I've almost completely forgotten that fact.
I do like the Weapon X costume Deadpool has in the comics though, so I guess I was just hoping that he would look more like that. |

| Well, on the upside, if he lives through this movie and gets his own spinoff, his new duds may get better. Or I pray to god this is just one of many deadpools we may get, since we haven't seen the unscarred version yet either.

| I'm not really sure what to think, but it might look cool on the screen. The blades are weird kinda weird, perhaps they felt the grotesque look of the comic would make him look more like Freddy Krueger.
However regardless of the look, I hope Ryan Reynolds does Wade justice and I'm hoping gets a spin off, and they gp fpr more of a comic look.

| The thing that most shocks me is that someone actually liked this figure enough to buy TWO of them.
This design is just all kinds of wrong. I wonder if Hasbro is in agreement and that's one of the reasons they are making so many "comic series" Wolverine figures... |

I was thinking Resolute CC might be a good starting place to make Ra's, and he'll need some cultists to worship him and execute his every command. This guy has a faintly Middle-Eastern vibe to him, imho; and definitely looks like he has self-control issues, lol.
It ain't Deadpool by any stretch of the imagination; but that don't mean it ain't a good figure. |

| Since we're already getting a costumed Deadpool in this toyline, and we've actually seen him in his red shirt in the trailer, my guess is that this is just a specific scene based toy. I doubt we'll see full blown comic outfit, but my guess is he'll have some sort of classic resemblence at some point in this movie. |

Though the costumed version could just be part of the "Comic Series" subline under Origins, like they've done with both Transformers and G.I.Joe 25th series (wave 3 of Origins seems to support this).
Oh, and "Welcome to the Toyark" shout outs to all the new members here!

| Well the nice thing about the origins comic series though...
It has cyclops, and the recent Fox Wolverine clips show cyke is in the movie. So maybe we'll get comics versions of all characters/cameos in the movie?
It also has someone who looks either like Emma Frost or Iceman too in the clips.

| Eh. Most rumblings seem to point that Deadpool becomes Weapon-XI after being brainwashed and shares the final fight sequence with Wolverine in the movie. He is seen in the trailer too. Though the casting of Scott Adkins seems to point against this, unless he was only hired for stunt work. |
