I've never done a custom before, I've read some things on HissTank for Joes about how to take the torso apart with the vice, but I'm not sure if that'd work on the movie Iron Man toys.
I have two versions of the Mark V armor, the TRU 4-pack and the mass release. I want to put the limbs of the mass release into the torso of the TRU release. Would the vice idea work, or should I do something else for these figures? |

If a vice doesn't work, you can do what I've done and pry it open enough to snip it apart with hobby cutters, drill a hole in the connection post and socket, and then install a 1/8" styrene tube to reconnect the body.
