As for the height-challenged Frost Giants, I'm really liking lars573's idea of calling them Frost Trolls, while the Gigantic Battles version serves as a proper Frost Giant. Gives them both a place without really contradicting each other. It would also give King Laufey a bit of a Napolean complex, which is awesome.

On a side note that no one probably cares about but I'm anal-retentive like that anyway:
In the actual old Norse Mythology, "Giants" ("Jotun" to be more specific) actually came in many sizes, with most of the "named" Giants actually being described as closer to human-sized (or at least of the same size as the Asgardians), though there were certainly exceptions that ranged into the much larger scales and others could change their size. After all, Loki is of giant descent and perfectly normal-sized. Lots of the Norse gods were half-giant (In the original mythology this included Thor). Just pointing out that there's a precedent for "not so giant" giants. Heck, even in the Marvel comics themselves they haven't always been that much bigger than the Asgardians (though at other times yes, they're shown as huge). |

If getting stands for Thor figures meant it would be some sort of gimmick like the IM2 stands, then I'll happily pass. For me, a figure stand should only do one thing and do it well: keep my toy from falling over.
