Aki of SSHQ has posted the 1st color images of the JSI 1/18 F-14A Tomcat in VF-84 Jolly Rogers liveries! This highly anticipated 1/18 scale model is set for release late next month in both the US and Japan! Thus far, the biggest release in 1/18 scale, the F-14A Tomcat has been in demand for years and now fans’ wishes for it are finally coming true!
It isn’t known as of yet if the paint scheme will change slightly from what we see here, the Jolly Rogers had numerous liveries applied to their F-14A’s over the years. Could the underside of the plane be painted in white, and for that matter, could other parts of the plane be painted in white for more accuracy, before final production? We’ll see next month!
Other expected changes are the vertical stabilizers being canted out a bit further as shown on the earlier prototype. Click on the title bar to see more of the newest 1/18 scale aircraft!
