Macross F DX VF-27 Lucifer And Tornado Messiah New Images

Tamashii has just released the latest images of newest additions to their Macross Frontier DX toyline, to be released in early 2010:

  • VF-27 Lucifer
  • VF-25F Tornado Messiah
Both of these made an appearance in the recent Macross Frontier movie, with the Tornado Messiah making it’s debut. The Lucifer also appeared in the Macross Frontier TV series. While the Tornado Messiah is basically the same VF-25F mold as the last release(albeit with new armor), the DX VF-27 features significant improvements, such as
  • Thigh swivels
  • Longer and more detailed landing gear
Could a retooled DX VF-25 be on tap, possibly for Summer or Fall 2010? At this point Bandai is just a few releases short of making every onscreen VF-25F in the DX line, and a retooled version would be a welcome addition come next year. Hit the title bar to see more!
