Back in the late 80’s, Mattel was looking for a way to expand beyond their core brands. Enter Captain Power, a strange futuristic action figure set that was interactive with the TV show and VHS tapes that were launched at the same time. The series and toy line were both short lived and utter failures. But I freakin’ loved them.
