Yamato Reveals TV VF-1S Roy Focker Special + Super Valkyrie

In a move that may or may not, surprise Macross fans, Yamato announced recently that they will be releasing the following in 1/60 scale:

The TV version of the VF-1S Skull 1 has notably been absent from Yamato’s Macross lines. To many, the DYRL? versions were close enough, though the TV version sports distinct differences, such as:

TV hands; more rounded, and bigger
Black arrows on the side of the head
1st time that Roy Focker in his TV flight suit will be released(in a Yamato line)
The Super Valkyrie version comes with Hikaru
Body is molded in bright white like the VF-1J Hikaru Custom
FAST packs from the TV show, which have different arm armors, no strike cannon, and a lighter shade of turqouise green

If you recall, Roy was never seen in the TV series flying a Super Valkyrie; he died before the FAST packs were used, and this is why Hikaru comes with the Super Valkyrie, whereas the standalone VF-1S TV version just comes with Roy. Msrp in Japan for the Super Valkyrie is 13,340 yen, while the standalone Roy Focker Special is 10,290 yen, both are planned for release in June. Click on the title bar to see more!
