Mattycollector has updated their Facebook Page with some info on their upcoming San Diego Comic-Con DC Universe Plastic Man. Seems this figure cannot be offered to fans in Australia and New Zealand.

One of the fans over at the Forums on MattyCollector.com asked why specifically Plastic Man wouldn’t be available in Australia/New Zealand and if a modified version could be made. Wanted to share what ToyGuru said:
“Yes, some of the individual parts in Plastic Man cannot be included due to local toy regulations Down Under. We don’t have plans to offer a modified version at this time. I totally hear you, but if we were to do a modified version it would have to take the place of another toy in development and at this time there is not anything we can drop to develop a slightly modified Plastic Man. It doesn’t mean we don’t love our Australia/New Zealand fans, we are really caught between a rock and hard place on this one. At the end of the day, we need to follow local toy regulations and cannot always distribute every toy around the world in every region.”
