Tamashii has posted a rather in-depth look at the progress of their Metal Build 00 Gundam 7 Sword. This 1/100 scale figure is Tamashii’s 2nd figure from Gundam 00 with diecast content, the 1st 1/100 diecast being the 0 Gundam. Updated information is as follows:

  • Can convert between 00 Gundam & 00 Gundam 7 Sword!

The Metal Build Gundam line builds off of the experience gained from the Gundam FIX Figuration Metal Composite(GFFMC), Soul Of Chogokin(SOC), DX Chogokin, & Super Robot Chogokin lines. The 1st Gundam toy Ebikawa worked on was the 00 Gundam from the Robot Damashii SIDE MS line. The Metal Build line gives him an opportunity to make a better 00 Gundam toy with newer technology, resulting in more detail at a bigger scale.
