MattyCollector posted a release today showcasing the 2012 Club Lion Force Exclusive Sven. Sven was the original pilot for the Blue Lion, but was injured by Haggar and her Robeast. Now Matty says that Sven will live on in Club Lion Force, and comes with an alternate helmet head and a key that unlocks the cockpit of Blue Lion. The key will also activate the one touch Voltron transformation feature and can be used as a display base.
Remember that Sven is a Club Lion Force Exclusive and will only be sent to 2012 subscription holders.

Like you, I’m a big fan of Voltron so I’m seriously excited for our all-new 2012 Club Lion Force, and especially the club-exclusive Sven figure. Fans have been asking for this series-essential character for years but he’s never been released as an action figure before so this is HUGE news! Because he’s the club-exclusive, that means the only way you can get Sven is to subscribe to Club Lion Force. If you’re a serious Voltron fan, Sven is a must-have for your collection!
Sven’s got a mysterious story behind that stoic façade”¦ in the classic series, he was the original pilot for the Blue Lion. In the episode “Right Arm of Voltron,” Sven was injured by Haggar and her Robeast, and sent to Planet Ebb for treatment! The Blue Lion went on to become piloted by the strong-willed and winsome Princess Allura, now a core member of Voltron Force.
Now Sven lives on in Club Lion Force! When we considered what to include in the club, Sven was, of course, a top pick. And being that this is the first time ever that Sven will be available, it was only right that he be reserved for true fans of the series. So, only subscribers of Club Lion Force will receive the club-exclusive figure, Sven!
Sven will arrive with an alternate helmet head and a key that unlocks the cockpit of the Blue Lion. The key also activates the one-touch Voltron transformation feature and can be used as a display base so Sven can finally rejoin his team mates (scoot it over, Allura!).
Again, because he’s the club-exclusive figure, the only way to get Sven guaranteed from Mattel is to join 2012 Club Lion Force. Along with Sven, subscribers also get all 5 Lions needed to make a ginormous 23″ Voltron robot, plus 5 Pilots that come with pieces to make an awesome Ultra Blazing Sword.
