Marvel Legends 2012 Arnim Zola Series Thunderball Wrecking Crew
The Wrecking Crew are formed when Dirk Garthwaite – the Wrecker – is approached by Dr. Eliot Franklin (Thunderball) in prison and asked to retrieve a gamma bomb Eliot had designed, with the intent of ransoming New York for millions of dollars. The Wrecker had formerly been a violent criminal who demolished crime scenes with his crowbar, but gained his power when he was mistaken for Loki and given godly powers by the Norn Queen. Garthwaite manages to retrieve his enchanted crowbar, and during a lightning storm tells Franklin and fellow prisoners Henry Camp and Brian Calusky to grip the weapon simultaneously. A lightning bolt then strikes the crowbar and transforms the four men into the Wrecking Crew. Marvel’s Wrecking Crew – Destroyers of buildings, men and the Heroic will!

A sickeningly disturbing commander of German forces during World War II, Red Skull has since proved to be one of the world’s most diabolical villains. He met the deranged geneticist Arnim Zola during wartime and the two quickly allied over their common , twisted, beliefs. Red Skull came to be the ultimate patron of evil, providing Arnim Zola with the bankroll he needed to continue his genetic research and experimentation. This investment paid off for the villainous benefactor. Arnim Zola used his crazed talents to transfer the consciousness of Red Skull into a new and improved boby cloned from the super soldier Steve Rogers.
