MattyCollector 2012 Q&A Answers May 15

By Shin Densetsu on May 15, 2012 at 3:58 pm under Toyark Spotlight

Welcome Toyark members! Today we have a new round of answers for the MattyCollector 2012 Q&A. Check them out below:

1) With the cancellation and restructuring of DCU Allstars, what will become of the two-packs, such as Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan vs Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner? Have they also been cancelled, or are they still being released as planned?

A)There are no current plans for the 2-packs, but we will always continue to explore ways of producing the most compelling collector offerings. Thank you.

2) This question was posted by a member who encountered difficulty in ordering from MattyCollector.com: When is MattyCollector going to get a WORKING website and customer service team?? In January, I noticed that my credit cards were expiring soon so I changed them to an updated one over the phone and told them that I needed these attached to my subscriptions. I ALSO did this online via their website as per their instructions over the phone. It was verified that this was done. Fast forward to today. I get an e-mail from Matty that my Club Lion Force figure didn’t ship because my card was declined because they used my OLD credit card. Furious, I called Matty and they tell me that it was “fixed” but it will be delayed by two days when their “automated” system tries again.

A) We are constantly upgrading our website to improve the buying and shipping experience. A new US based CS group is now in place and a subscription page to manage your account should be launching before SDCC (we hope! Still de-bugging it). Nothing is more important.

3) With the canceling of Young Justice 4″ figures, is it the end of your efforts, in the 1:18 scale? Or can we expect a different body / articulation / approach in future DC figures thereof that scale? Next year witnesses both the new Man of Steel film AND Superman’s 75th anniversary. Its TWICE the media buzz / opportunity to take advantage of a new line of possibly better 1:18 scale figures…

A) Our efforts are never-ending, and we will continue to explore various form factors and scales. We are not making any announcements about 2013 Superman product at this time. Thank you.

4) With Brock Lesnar now back in the WWE, has work started on a WWE Elite figure of him?

A) Well in this case we’ll make an exception: YES! It is turning out awesome.

5) The 2002 version of Teela was a fan favorite character from the cartoon. Since the 2002 style for head sculpts won’t be used, is it possible to get a MOTUC figure of Teela, based on the 2002 costume but with a head sculpt using the current style that the 4H uses?

A) It is always “possible” but their really aren’t that many differences and when you “Classic-size” the 2002 outfit it is really close to what we have now.
